Most of Asimov is “good ish” haha I’m gonna give Dune a shot.

Now that’s the mark of a great book! I’m looking forward to this big jump.

@@scifibookery I think the key is just going with it and not trying to figure it all out right away. It does become clearer as it goes along. It's like being dropped off in another country where maybe they speak some English, but not a lot, and the culture and customs are completely different than anything in your experience. At first, you are disoriented. But little by little, you start to absorb things and it starts to make more sense. I don't know if he designed the culture based off any real world desert living cultures. It felt so real and the things they did and the way they thought of things made sense in that environment.

Well that makes sense though. It's the same here with anything other than English.
