@@TonyDiGerolamoandLittleJoan Nice. Didn’t see it, but I remember it from video stores. Deadpool is rated 14 in Canada, so MaXXXine was the only 18 certified this summer so far.

i dont follow comicbook movies and im very critical of todays Hollywood movies...but i thought this movie was enjoyabe...and Jackman is a A-class actor especially in the intense,drama and emotional scenes

as a screenwriter what did you think of the middle act would you have trimmed it? included scenes of wades timeline so we feel a sense of stakes? would be curious to know.

Maybe in the first act, but not the second. But I would've rewritten it a bit. I think I would've had Vanessa pregnant, worried about the baby and Wade being a mercenary. That he had to give it up to be a responsible dad, but he kept getting into fights or old foes kept trying to kill him. She leaves him for safety, but Wade is trying to win her back, then does so at the end.
