The difference I think is Jesse tries to follow the wheel whereas Joseph lets it slide in his hands. It's the difference of knowing the car well enough so as it rotates you know where to snatch the wheel again.
His hands have definitely slowed down since he started. But he still looks like he's fighting Floyd Mayweather and trying not to get hit. Go race that big race bud seat time always helps and you don't get better with the car sitting in the shop.
Ask Jesse to watch Hollis Farms video posted 11/17. He came in second in his race at the Mag . His camera really shows how little he moves the stearing wheel. Jason is very smooth on driving.
Jessie did good. He gets better every time. My thought is if you all can wing it with two cars, maybe yall oughtta put him out there and give him the experience. I think itll do him some good. Great job guys good luck.
Car looked good. Jesse man, you're looking better every time out! Just keep digging and you'll end battling for wins. And I believe you're gonna start getting some pretty soon. Keep making laps as much as you can. God bless y'all, stay safe and Hunt the Front 🤙💪
Jonathan’s said it before. He likes to race but he can’t manage his business aka Hunt the Front while doing so. In order to make quality videos it requires time outside of the car. Just not enough time on his end to make a quality video and enjoy racing. And plus I think he enjoys being a video man/ car owner
Awesome to see Jesse's mom at the track to support him in his passion. You boys are my age and into the same things I grew up doing. I dont go the the circle track much anymore though. It's more dirtbikes but I still love me some roundy rounds.. keep it up boys!
Progress for sure....honestly didnt think he was going to make that gap back....after half way... On the other hand what about that poor shock....lol... I love the videos keep them coming and good luck....you and your brother are definitely some stand up guys hands down
Jesse looked the best yet. He will get there he just needs seat time and get used to the feel of the car and gain more confidence. I'M thrilled how he drove tonight. Don't listen to the naysayers you are getting better Jesse keep your chin up and Digging. Kayla thank you again for all you do and the recording you do in the stands for us. Hope your feeling good and everything is going well during your first Pregnancy. God Bless!!
Keep striving Jesse!! Happy to see ya back in the HTF 1 🤘🏁 Also very cool to see Johnathan on the Pauch family's vlog earlier tonight with Mandee & Billy Jr while they did a Q & A....#HTFnation showing some love to a fellow vlogger and a very talented wheelman Billy Pauch Jr. If y'all want to see some great content of another incredible racing family. Checkout Mandee Pauch as she follows her father, brother and boyfriend in their racing endeavors. You won't be disappointed!!
@@chaddailey3131 absolutely, she is good people. As well as her family and boyfriend Mike. Was fortunate enough to talk with her last year during Super Dirt Week at Oswego. Very motivated and talented young lady, with a passion for dirt racing. Her brother and rather both have incredible resumes when it comes to racing just about anything.
Good job Jesse. I’m sure better tires would help him and getting the carb better would have helped him also. All in all Jesse is coming along he did a much better job in that race.
Stop the hands thing people its getting old that is the best ive seen him look that travel in the RF is like yall said night and day he will start going forward now you watch get some good rubber and qualify good and im gonna say it maybe win a race in the next two to three outings but great job Jessie you looked awsome get comfortable with it keep digging bud god bless
I agree give it a rest and rather a lot of people out here realize it or not Jesse is driving an out dated race car Joseph and Jonathan had already discussed in a video at the track a while back that in order for Jesse to run better they need to provide him with better equipment. They know what he's got and they know what needs to be done to help him be better. You have to start somewhere to learn the trade at the moment this is the best they can provide for him better things are coming his way. This is a good learning curve for Jesse.
Awesome showing Jessie and I agree, your best race to date. Get your Sponsors to come up with some rubber and a little more HP and you'll be hunt'en the front. A 🏁National 100 🏆winner knows what it takes. You should really consider taken the "1" car next weekend. You never know, anything can happen!!
Nice Run!!!! Jesse, not just the guys being proud of ya ---- All bud, ALL of HTFNation is proud of ya!!! Reflect on yer "feel" (seat of the pants!), the differences; review tapes and compare in car, memory, and stands-view ...... put it all together! Sooner rather than later while still fresh in yer mind. And I say --- yes, run next wkend... it will be priceless!!! (back to back wkends), it will go along way while the "feeling" is still fresh. HTF, don't worry about both or all 3 being on the track at the same time ---- let each run their own race; it has to happen!!! (eventually!) ..... Hey Bo, nice seein' ya bud. And Shadow, Kayla, and Bethany ---- all y'all rock!!! Be Safe
Good job Jesse , I actually thought you looked more comfortable in the car in warm ups ( hands were little more steady ) .. You looking better ever race , you were not losing any time to the others in the main , didn't look like it .. Seat time will cure so much , plus I think Jesse doesn't want to hurt the car , since he doesn't own the car .. Good job Hunt the Front .!!
I aways drove with one hand from the days that I raised Cain on the streets in four speed cars. Think that helped when I got into a race car. Remember, racing is about timing and being smooth. Jesse will catch on once he calms down and gets comfortable in the car. Only way to do that is by making laps and to visualize laps while sitting at the house. I've got faith in him and all of you guys. Keep it up HTF
Proud of Jesse. Top-five finish is always a good thing! Just gotta get him some more wheel-time, maybe 20-25 races per-year. I don't think racing more would hurt him a bit.
Jesse getting better every time he gets out on the track! If he learns to not overdrive the car and be smooth I think he’ll be a major contender to win some races
Jessie did much better with the chassis off the dirt! Was about to grill him on the wheel inputs until the bottoming issue was unveiled and that made all the sense after that. Hunt that front and congrats on the big 15k win🏁
Great Race Jesse! I have been watching closely as my brother and I are trying to get a 602 crate late together that is competitive at our local track (we are noobs in our 40's) I'm the 🔧 he's the driver. Thank you HTF for all the content!
Getting better Jesse. The car doesn't need that much turning. You are having to pinch it off where you have over corrected it. Like someone said, maybe a larger steering wheel would slow down the turning. Good job.
What I liked about Jesse's performance one he is starting to be more stable with the wheel, two as the race went on his speed picked up it was gradual but improved from lap to lap. A decent performance and showing improvements you can not kick that for what little seat time he has gotten. As always great job guys My words to Jesse relax enjoy it always be positive no matter the result but first and foremost keep honing your skills. Like I said in the past it is coming to ya be ready for it and enjoy the ride.
Jesse needs to set the car harder on corner entry. Seems like he always just drives it straight into to corner and either pushes or gets squirrely and scrubs off some speed. Pitch er in and let er eat. I know easier said than done. But he just has to experiment more.
Getting there Jesse, making laps as good as on the pace of those in front, your best run by far! Keep enjoying yourself and entertainIng us. You have Joesph, Jonathan and Bo for advice, that’s plenty there, I’d ignore any “helpful” comments from elsewhere 👍🏼
You did good jesse, ignore all these comments about your hands no of us can drive that car from our phones or laptop watching this video. Heck most of them have never sat there butts in a racecar of any kind. Seat time + Lap time= faster times. Try switching things up each lap run different lines hit different marks find your sweet spot. You'll find it keep at it.
Best post of this video!!.....Your hands will slow down when the time is right.....Focus on results and how the car looks from the outside......No car damage in 9 - 10 races = good car control (even with busy hands so it must be working).....Now that you have earned Jonathan's view that its OK to do some damage as you race to the front, time to get a little more aggressive......Better a reputation of good car control that a reputation of crashing a lot......Have you noticed how many people you have won over? A LOT!......Doing great Jesse!....As Mark Hagler said, "keep at it"!
Keep the Faith Jesse 👍👍👌.... Takes lotta seat time ..... Some people are just a natural, some gotta want it bad enough to work at it harder..... Stay after it brother !!! 🏁
Way to go Jessi!! Improving each time out and looked good in the race! Keep it up and getting that experience each time out! Congratulations Jessi! Go Hunt the front!!!
Jessie is doing good its not easy to just jump into one of these and drive them if that was the case a whole lot of ppl would be doing it. Once hes gets the car figured out and doesnt have to fight it as much hes gonna be solid
Jesse did great.... So amazing how you guys work with him to help him improve and learn how to become a better driver. Next weekend would be a great opportunity for Jesse to gain more seat time against a great field of cars....You guys have a great team!!! GO get that money 💵 at deep south!!!! HUNT THE FRONT ALL THE WAY TO THE FRONT!!!
Get the dang bumps off the track and Jesse will be right there every time. Good run Jesse. Next season will be a much better season for ya...I can see it
Jesse, You did well Sir! Everyone that doesn’t drive race cars needs to remember, Everyone out there is driving fancy “Cadillac’s” and you are in a “Crown Victoria” 🙃 so under the circumstances, You did Well. Nah, Seriously I know guys that have been racing for years that aren’t close to making laps like that... 👏👏👏👍
Good job Jesse! You were hustling that thing! You all’s home track is just very unracey though but you were tracking and tried that cushion. You will learn more up there than just bottom dwelling. Well done team 👍
Good job Jesse, man your getting there buddy! Looking better each time! I thank with some new shocks, tires, and a motor during the off season and go over car real good your gonna win some races soon! HTF!!!
