I used to be a "real" police officer on a major metropolitan police agency. The dog is TOO much in this situation. My colleagues and I are beginning to wonder if all the psycho-babble BS that officer candidates have to wade through to get an LE job, doesn't mitigate against a normal, well adjusted group, to enforce our codes and laws.

Great show! A bit sad that the guard had to try to stop you, but I am sure he has his reasons... although I personally don't really understand what the problem was. I know he was doing his job, but I don't see what kind of threat you were creating
Probably it's to avoid overcrowding in a location not meant to handle crowds or that's causing a bottleneck for people trying to pass, or there's an event or residential areas nearby that's making complaints of noise intrusions. It doesn't have to be a direct threat to want to dismiss a crowd from making loud noises. That said, he really could've handled this better.
I agree but what about 100 or so people that are stopping by in such a narrow alleyway. Paris is known for its strict rules on terrorism and this is exactly what they are afraid of... Unfortunately. Paris has a gloomy history with terrorism. I tried to unpack my tripod to make some stock footage a few years ago. Not a bright idea, one secret service guy got triggered right away. And that was even before the Bataclan was brutally assaulted 😢
Maybe there was a grammar school choir performing at the restaurant next door and those wee little voices just could not compete in volume. (Best I could come up with...)
I didn't know there was any such thing as an electric flute! I'm so glad you all kept playing! And that the guard had a good grip on his dog! I can see why he needed you to stop, but it was a couple of amazing minutes ❤
You have courage and courage, my friend. Many would have stopped playing when they saw the guard (and even more so if he is accompanied by the dog), but you continued and completed it. Even at the risk of ending up with teeth marks and with a visit to the hospital included in the price. And it turned out wonderfully (even if the guard and his dog didn't cooperate much). I love the way the music you play flows and you get it to us. Thanks a lot. It's an honor.
Security Guard, make a note for the next time, it is disrespectful to ask an artist to stop playing in the middle of a performance unless there is an emergency. Just letting you know. ❤

It was fantastic thank you for sharing and the security member ,should have stood bank and enjoyed the music ,the fact he dint have his security dog under control says alot about him ,as i own a mali and it works on comands and numbers.
That was upsetting to see how unsocialized that dog appeared in that situation. That could end very badly for someone if security and their animals aren’t trained!
@@starberst79 it shows the security guard should not have been in control of the dog, and your correct it could have been fatal, this dog has not been trained by this handler and should not be used by this gentleman....
@@starberst79 No security dog on a leash should need a bite mask unless they're sufficiently aggressive to be guarding prisoners! Both the dog AND the guard are untrained. If the guard gives the strap on that poor over-stressed dog's mask one tug it will come off -- and those fangs will quickly go into someone's leg or arm... or throat!
Too many people think a dags tail wagging is not an indication that itshappy, and i pray that they don't walk up to an aggressive dog thinking its just a happy boy all because its "wagging its tail'
That was incredible! I was getting really worried about that security guard with the dog though. Why in the world would they want to stop something so amazing? The people were loving every second.
