This is a rare recording of the 1962 wave of Covid

Pareciera que uno de los 2 micrófonos estaba muy cerca del público. Se puede editar para eliminar bastante el ruido de las toses. Es una lástima, porque molesta. Excelente documento, histórico. Gracias por compartir.

@@rolandonavarro3170 he should have stopped playing and asked for an ambulance to remove the pestilential audience members

Also seems as if the Maestro was distracted by the audience noise It is an excellent historical record

This is the first time I'm hearing Segovia perform the 11th etude. How much more is left to be discovered?

Is this with the Hauser or the Ramirez?

Not the 1937 Hauser, for sure.

How can you really tell ? The sonics are shoddy.

It could well have been the Hauser, if we take the information provided by the MET at face value. They claim Segovia used the Hauser (donated to the museum by Emilita Segovia in 1986) from 1938 to 1962.The owner of the channel dates this soundbite from Argentina 23.06.1962.

He played the famous Hauser until 1961, as said by him. From there he played the Ramirez.

It’s unlikely to be the 1937 Hauser, but it could be a differentHauser, a Ramirez, or a Fleta.
