i was so moved by this film when i saw it in 1972 that i got into my 65 nova and drove to N.H.. and i crossed the field and saw the tree. the nailed on boards were gone, but there were still traces left behind. i had just turned 18
Certainly happy I am the first one to comment. One of the most important movies of my youth (following Bless The Beasts And Children). Cant find a copy of this on any site, and have no idea of any DVD release. It probably should have been re-released with Summer of 42 Then it might have had better visibility prior to network
