Thank you. Nearly half my property is a part of a much larger environmental zone that has remained undeveloped. It's fairly wild down there and being in Oregon there are a lot of trees and blackberry thickets. Plus, I feed them.

You did a nice job with this. I love how you took the time to make captions to identify each species and their gender. I suspect this took a reasonable amount of effort to do this or other people would too. I live in the suburbs of Philadelphia, so I don't see or recognize most of the birds in your video.

Wonderful video. Birds are drastically declining in numbers so anything anyone can do to provide them with a friendly environment, food and water is very helpful.

I always think about how birdwatcher hobbyists/enthusiasts watch videos like this with genuine fascination. Maybe I've been spoiled by owning a pet bird but I just see this as adorable. It's like puppies playing in a pool to me. I can understand the more serious appeal or interest, but I also just can't help but find them really cute and silly

California Scrub Jay is my absolute favorite here so far. Can't wait to get to have a Steller's Jay visit one day too, they're so majestic.

Very relaxing video! I miss the bird bath we had in our yard when I was growing up. We'd just get it filled when a silly robin would get in and splash most of the water out. Always a delight to watch!

Oh wow! I didn't know Scrub Jays were up in Oregon. I'd never seen them before moving to FL where I'm also in an environmental zone. I hadn't really looked into it their habitats, but it's good to know they have more territory than I had expected. They're lovely birds!

The sparrow and the grosbeak looked like they were having a standoff until the latter turned away.

I live in west coast canada and i recognize many of the birds in this video! I love Towhees, they are so cute.

You are so lucky. I have a birdbath and water bowls here in UK. I get sparrows magpies blue tits wood pidgeons and squirrels. We had parrots once but once they saw cats they never returned.

I wish that many of these bird species lived in my region on the world

These have the finest flying technology out there. Just couple of caterpillars and a few drops of water and they good to fly for hours with best maneuvers, dive, lift and hunting.

Your Hutton's Vireo is actually a Ruby-crowned Kinglet. Note the diagnostic wing flicking, thinner bill, active behavior and distinctive dry two noted quick "tzi-tzi" vocalizations that this bird makes.

I try and look for smooth, white bird baths, because that makes it much easier to tell if the water is dirty. Dark colors and mosaics are the worst for seeing dirt. Birds are the only creatures that will see these designs and I doubt they care about the design inside the BB. The crevices around an interior design inside a bowl are also the most likely place for mold to begin growing and these crevices also make it much harder to clean the bowl (If you don't care about dirty water it doesn't matter.) I also keep a tightly wound handle strainer hung-up near the bird bath and use that to clean very minute debris and birdcrap out of the birdbath between changes of the water. (I buy 3 or 4 at a time at the dollar store) I change the water at least once a day. Some species of birds like doves and sparrows will crap in the water on a regular basis. I try and remove it while it is still fresh and intact. I went to a Lowes to buy a birdbath recently and I was very surprised to see that most of them were designed very poorly in my opinion. But I guess a lot of people buying their first birdbaths are novices who are more impressed by aesthetics than the utility of the design(?) I never use my clay/pottery bird baths in the winter. The constant pressure on the sides from freezing ice at night and thawing during daylight will cause these bird baths to disintegrate much sooner than they should. I'm only aware of this because it happened to a neighbor of mine. I use a heated, white, plastic bird birdbath in the winter but I don't fill it up too high because the water on the lip will freeze. I thought the heater had stopped working until realized I was filling it too high. I try an remember to turn it off and empty it at night but sometimes I forget to do this. But I live in the suburbs of Philadelphia and people in warmer climates probably don't have to worry about this. WRZ Delaware County, PA
