A shave with Summer Break Soap’s “Daydream” and the Gillette Slim Adjustable razor

Funny enough the razor company interviewed Kyle (owner) right after I made this video, and he said he was thinking about teaming up with Southern Witchcrafts in the future. So their creations would be a combination of Summer Break’s bright theme, and Southern Witchcrafts’ dark theme. Which I thought was just insanely cool. I just happened to mention their similarities to Southern Witchcrafts in my video which I thought was too funny. Glad to hear you also like what Summer Break is doing. Very creative brand with a creative theme. I hear you though, in this hobby soaps come in the door much faster than we use them up, so den capacity can be an issue. Especially with the availability of all the artisans now. I’m going through the same thing. May clear out some stuff soon to make room for more. Yeah, I’m slowly becoming a badger guy and can see why people love them. I can beat them up and don’t have to worry about ruining it lol. Good point about the razor burn. I’m looking forward to practicing doing longer strokes in the future. They just work better for me. Thanks so much for the advice, that makes a lot of sense actually. You’re not the first one I’ve heard mention that drying them on a towel helps reduce the hole in the middle. I will start doing that from now on. Thanks so much for watching Cory! Yeah haha, you’re not the first person to ask about my kitchen shave setup. I’ve done a few videos in my bathroom, but it’s small and I don’t like how the sound comes out in there. But the the mirror in my bathroom is better, so I get better shaves in there. In my kitchen it’s bigger and I like the angle and sound better. I set up a small mirror on my windowsill, and usually have the blinds down behind it so people can’t look in. Sometimes I open the blinds though for better lighting and I’m sure people have seen me, but I don’t care haha. So yeah just handheld mirror on the windowsill, and phone on a tripod next to the sink. @@DoubleAshaves of course. If you really dig badger brushes you should look at Chisel and Hound brushes-Rob, the artisan, makes incredible brushes. His badger knots are SUPER nice. A little pricy, but definitely worth the money.
