I have a love of my life too, although we never got back together. And throughout the years we’ve been apart I’ve grown used to saying she is the love of my life. And although that’s true I’ve learned that it’s me who am the love of my life, which was a conclusion achievable only because of the years we’ve grown apart. She is still the woman of my life and the greatest love I think I will ever share. Maya, you are an intoxicating young woman, as interesting as you are beautiful. When I was about your age, a buddy and I did a 6500 mile road trip across the American South West on motorcycles, in the Rockies, down to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. We hiked down the Bright Angel trail to the Colorado River and back up about 8000 feet of elevation. We hiked into ruins left by the Anastasi Indians all on a geology field trip. We motored into California up Rt#1 along the coast, We camped in a Redwood Forest, through San Francisco. We came back east through Yosemite, back into the Rockies, climbed mountains up to 15,000 ft. Fished with a fly rod for Brook Trout and hunted for all our meals. What a trip, an adventure and a rememberance. Now, 50 years later, it was one of the best trips of my life, and I didn't stop there. Have fun Maya and take care.

I seriously hope you carry both water and a gun when you hike in rual desert areas. You have to worry about the heat, strange people and wild animals like feral dogs or even mountain lions. Bring water, a compass, a gun, food, a emergency blanket or better idea. Don't go.
Do you believe in signs from God or the universe during your journey? I receive signs that might sound incredibly stupid if I try to explain them to someone. If you open your eyes, you see that the universe or God is actually communicating with you through music, videos like this, places you visit, being at a certain place at a certain time, and so on.
