Halloween moon landings, eh? NASA: You guys are back early Astronaut: Moon's haunted NASA: What Astronaut: [loads gun and gets back into rocket] Moon's haunted
Another episode demonstrating why engineering design reviews by peers are so crucial before actually building (or in your case launching) the hardware.
Man, this is cutting it super close. Your rockets are almost done, but there could always be failures. And Beardy has had a heck of a year: 3 N1 failures and 2 cosmonaut losses. As if it wasn't close enough already
I hope there are plans to continue this series even after a Moon landing happens. I'd absolutely love to see future fictional missions ...I posted this literally seconds before the question was answered in the video lol
I once launched a 5 ton space station “power module” that couldn’t even power itself due to woefully inadequate solar panels and using near-Earth avionics, it ran down its batteries before making it to the station- which ironically enough had oodles of power to spare but needed the extra avionics capability to actually dock a crew capsule and still be controllable.
There is no way in hell carnassa is getting a manned moon mission going before the soviets or the americans, they just don't have the tech, or the infrastructure to launch such heavy rockets. Getting an unmanned lunar lander onto the moon though? That... might be possible before either of the main powers manage a manned landing. It'll be an impressive feat, that's for sure.
Is there any reason Carnasa didn’t have a video out for this weekend? Not trying to rush you guys, this is really high quality content and i know it takes a lot of time just a little curious
I hope they continue even beyond Mars. Stopping at the Moon would be kind of boring anyway, it's mostly a repetition of history. Going to Mars or the giant planets, moon bases, is where the fun really begins (for me at least). It showcases what we could have done if space programs actually got the funding they deserve.
In a previous episode our Corona satellite program became compromised, after EVA meddling by a crewed Soviet mission that stole our film. Ever since, we've been developing Dynsoar as a recon replacement. Unfortunately, a recent launch failure set that back as well!
Bro can I please give me the outro music. I have been singing that song in my head all day and it just annoys me that I don't have that song in my playlist. I NEED IT
