Learn basic Japanese Sign Language by watching this video.
Hi everyone Danny here.
I finally had time to edit this video "A Silent Voice Koe no Katachi JSL explained part 2"
Here are some Japanese Sign Language (JSL) that was shown in the movie:
1.良い Good
2. 手話は勉強を出来る Can study sign language
3. ぼくが思うた I thought
4. 友達 Friend
5. 嬉しい Happy
6. 私は同じことを考えた。I was thinking the same thing.
7. パン Bread
8. あげる Give
魚に餌をあげる Feed the fish
9. 魚のために For the fish
10. ありがとう Thank you
11. すみません Sorry
12.またね See you later / See you again
I hope my video will help you start to learn some new basic Japanese Sign language words from Koe No Katachi.
Making these videos takes up a lot of time. Almost 10 - 15 hours.
If you can, please help me by subscribing to my RU-vid channel and sharing my videos to your social media sites.
This will help me continue to make more Japanese Sign Language (JSL) videos.
Mata Ne!

I appreciate this video so much! I'm a translator for Japanese tourists and recently we've been having more visitors who are hard of hearing or deaf. I don't always have a pen or paper on me to write down what I need to say so I've been trying to learn JSL to make visitors feel more comfortable during their stay!!

Honestly, A Silent Voice was the reason why I wanted to learn American sign language (yes, before anyone points it out, I do know and understand that American sign language and Japanese sign language and other forms of sign language are completely different, but I related so much to Shoko on a very personal level that I was very inspired by it). I love the fact that you did these videos. I also took a little bit of Japanese at the beginning of college, and since I'm currently learning ASL, I thought learning at least a little bit of JSL would be something very fun to learn, as well as understand the thing said in A Silent Voice. Thank you for doing these videos :-)

@@DeafJapanTVPlease do "A sign of Affection" now. It's a new anime getting so many people, inclusing meninto JSL, and it's much longer than Koe no katachi with a whole season one out, not to mention the other seasons that are hopefully coming. It'll have a lot more signs to do. Please start with the signs from the opening. 😅 And the sign Itsu used when he asked Yuki out, they never translated it.

C. B. Kitty it’s kind of unclear for me. He says to her that she can teach him to how to live and then holds her hand. In Japanese Sign Language it can mean “Friend or Strong bond” Also, he seems embarrassed for getting near to her and hold her hands together. Maybe this is the first time he’s ever held another person’s hands before. That’s why he thinks he did something creepy.
