That's gotta be the cutest fluffy unripe mango/lime colored chicken boy I've ever seen 😍❤️🦜✨ 🥭 🍋 I love his little chirps and his affirmative "Mmhm!" 🤗
He is so smart, too! (Not just Another Pretty Face. 😉). It is so cute that he seems to be happy imagining he is eating. His lil tongue is tasting air, but he seems to be enjoying pretending. Is that what is happening?
Your videos are amazingly informative! I was given an Indian Ringneck and just found out she’s a breeder. She’s very scared or just moves away from me, now I’m applying what I have learned from your video. My main question is.. can she be trained to love me? I believe she was caged the whole time, and she is about a year old..
My apologies I just saw this now. So happy she is in a loving home now and you are giving her a better life. With any bird it takes time to build trust and it really depends on the bird as well as how much time you put into it. Just be consistent and don’t get discouraged, it’s also important to remember not to compare her to other birds you see on social media, most people just show the cute videos and not the reality of what birds are really like as pets. I rescued a female ringneck parrot who spent most of her time locked up in a cage as well in a salon. She would attack most people but seemed to prefer males, however she bonded to me pretty quickly. I would bring her treats every time I’d go to the salon and talk to her until I eventually had her trust, she was my first ringneck parrot and turned out to be the sweetest most cuddly bird. She was about 18 years old when they finally gave her to me as they were closing the store, unfortunately she only lived two more years because of the unhealthy diet. But I spoiled her and gave her the best life I could.
Hey ma'am, i got question for you , i have indian ringneck chick almost 3 months his fully tamed , but he didn't play alot always on my hands and not whistling or tying to talk , is that normal
How long have you had him for? It takes time for them to adjust and feel comfortable. You can start introducing him to toys from now to see what he likes.
Hi I got a huge problem 😣😣 I have got a 3 months old alexandrine parrot and we let him free inside home. Nowadays he has been biting everything whatever he finds inside home. I am so annoyed and tired. I don’t want to keep him in cage and also i have provided him few toys. But still he prefers to make damages only! 😣 I can’t tell you how much damages he has made until now. Please help me with any good solution! Ps: Its my first time keeping a pet.
Parrots love to chew on everything, the only way to really stop him is to prevent him from going in those areas that he is chewing. Put things there to keep him away and provide him with other safe chew toys. Also it helps to play with him and make him tired in between when possible. I race with Ricco and let him fly so he burns off some energy, I find that also helps. Does he have a stand to perch on with safe wood to chew on.
