Hi, in this video i'm going to show you how to find out with a very simple test which BGA chip needs to be repaired, you can use this test on every laptop and find out if the problem is on the northbridge or the GPU. Use a heatgun and heat up the area beneath the chip that you want to test, by applying heat you cause expantion of the soder and so closing the gap of the cracked BGA joint and making the laptop functional again for a few minutes. Once you find the problematic chip you can reflow, reball or replace it and repair the motherboard.
The laptop that i test is a Packard Bell TK81 - Acer Aspire 5552G with LA-5911P motherboard.
