Just goes to show you don't need a lot to make something beautiful. My personal favourite is the window seat and if that place was mine that would now be a reading nook, with shelves on one side full of books and a real thick cushion to sit on. That is my idea of heaven. I don't know what the sticky stuff is but you made it work. If this isn't your forever home then you did fabulous.
Its vinyl Most likely temporarily vinyl Easily found at dollar tree, walmart or joans for cricut machines They have all sorts of patterns and designs Even simple color ones
I loved everything except for the countertops in the kitchen. It bothered me how they were put on and the gaps and holes and just not flush to the original countertops.
You did an awesome job decorating your place with basically few things that showed your dedication and creativity. Enjoy your new home ...oh by the way I love the colors that you chose so fresh , peaceful and cheerful place ...... Loved it !!!🥰😍👍🏻💯💚💛🧡🌈
Looooooooove every single thing you did!!!! Not everything has to be expensive in order to make what you have beautiful!! Possibilities are endless with only imagination, desire and elbow grease!!!!!! It’s called “balling on a budget!”.👍🏾👍🏾
Beautiful lady you are very talented with a wonderful eye for detail, you have made a beautiful home for yourself. May God bless your home and it always filled with love and laughter.
I love the color choices, it makes it look so light and pretty in there! On a side note, I've never seen someone have nail clippers on their keychain 😂
It is quite obvious that she doesn't cook or at least not very into cooking. The sticky paper stuff is a hazard. It will either burnt or ruined if a hot utensile is placed on top of it, which one will inevitably do that in cooking, from experience. However, it is still at least a 7 for her effort.
Maybe she cooks but just hasn't learned the pitfalls of contact paper lol. Cute for her though. To each his own. I did some pretty weird decorating when I was her age 😁
I know! I was thinking there isn't anything else she can cover in contact paper...lol never dreamed she would do that in the kitchen. She had stainless steel countertops. Who in their right mind would cover those with contact paper. I thought the kitchen was really nice. Just needed a good clean I figured. That's what I get for thinking. But man contact paper with heat and cold just gets nasty and when u take it off the surface has a sticky film that u can't get off. I thought all the furniture looking great shape just needed a nice clean. Was she old enough to have an apt? She looked 15 or 16 and the decor said the same. Mine you a big apt like that for $250 I'm in...lol
Great job beautiful and clean looking. Wonderful… those that don’t like it. Shut t f u …. People live to find fault all the time in there life you do 😡
@@debbied9152 I am not a great cook but I am experienced enough to know what is safe and not safe around the kitchen. What she did look ok but plastic and heat are not a good mix. Sooner or later, the coating will be ruined. It is obvious that she is under a tight budget. Leaving the stainless steel surface alone would be a better move.
She did a great job! Very bright and cheerful. The only thing I don't understand is that super low table in the living room. What's it used for? It's too low to use as a coffee table....
Hello, i think you did a marvelous job of doing your apt over ! You are blessed with amazing creativity in your mind !! Enjoy your home Thank you for sharing... Many blessings to you. Watching you from USA Pennsylvania.
Awesome 👌 , whatever i wanted to say ,others have told 😀 ,so creative and chic with the minimum expense you made the best 👍🏼..... bright , lovely and wonderful home , excellent👏👏👏 enjoy it dear❤ 😊
It's so cute! I was waiting to see what you did to the door leading into your apartment. When you flopped face down on the bed and THEN kicked your slippers off I LOL! Good job!
P.S. You should make that clip about making your bed, flopping face down and kicking your slippers off into a tiktok or YT short. I find it hilarious!🤣
The place just need a few updated touches...Nice for the rent price too...beautiful hardwood floors..She did a Fantastic Job..Great that she worked with most of the Furnishings that was already there..
I love the colors you chose they're very cheerful but I'm not too sure about the contact paper (laminate paper) on the furniture, it looks a little sloppy. Over all your renovations came out nice.
Absolutely. I 100% understand the appeal of contact paper if this furniture came with the place, but you can clearly see where it's not applied correctly. It's going to peel off really quick. She gets an A for effort.
I’m not sure if you’d be interested in this channel but there’s a channel called Jamie Ray Vintage in which she paints wood furniture. She’s a great teacher! I’ve learned a lot from her. And you did a great job in turning the place into a super cute home!
I agree regarding contact paper covering kitchen counters. Also, contact paper used as a floor covering can't work very well either. I don't think China has building codes like we do here in the USA.
