Nice setup. I love single sub builds they are much more impressive to me than big systems. I have a Sundown NSV4 18 in the trunk of my Civic on a Synergy 3.5k at .5 that im gonna be metering this weekend. Pretty confident it will break 150.

What is your box specs? I have a small hatchback Veloster and going to make a box for my FI btl neo 15 this weekend but I may only be 3.5 cuft after displacement

Make the box at least 4.0 cu ft. Thats small for a 15. I have a skar 15" dnr dual 1 ohm, 5000 rms and my box is 4.5 cu. With sub displacement, my box will be small. Really, a strong 15" sub should have a box approx 5 cu ft.

It's roughly 3k after rise. Rises from .35 to .7. It was fun with that setup but I've upgraded since then lol

Go-Rilla It's always a good idea to mount your sub box to the car not only will it not slide around it will transfer more of the bass you like to feel into the car giving a more impressive bass experience overall

looks like a 18 to me,and people are saying 18 in the comments so im not sure.i have a 18 nsv4 and i built a box but damn it was huge so im thinking of maybe doing a side port this time,because my 8 inch aero port was too close the rear tail gate in my blazer,im curious how a box like this would sound with sub up port to the side in 05 2 door blazer,also does sound different or is the air movement different with the port facing to the rear pass side because theres a nice little cubby hole,the drivers side had that spare tire bracket so theres tons of metal stuff on that side.any ideas guys.this sub is huge,what if i was under 7 cubes just a little too.it calls for 7.thats a lot.

Make sure you don't use the blue turn on wire as the power supply but use the power wire with a switch you run to the front. That should help. Some also use relays

@@JacobViral maybe it's a relay thing. I've used both wire. With and without the switch. No difference. Keeps cutting my amp off. Maybe it's the type of fan

Just to let you guys know excursion is NOT everything!!! You can be “ louder” using a sub with say 17 mm Xmax consuming 2000watts VS a subwoofer with 30mm Xmax consuming 1000 watts. There are to many variables (like enclosure size and tuning) to be determined. It is ignorant to assume that this guys subwoofer is louder than “back in the day” subwoofers.

For those who dont know Parallel divides ,series adds. Dual .7s gives.35 or u. Can put in series and have 1.4 ohm....nice amp to handle .35btw

This was only for comp. I'm currently in the process of doing 4 6.5's and 2 tweets in each door and also 4 15s in a wall. It honestly sounds good in person.
