Brilliant! Where are all the crowds that people complain about in the Lake district? Having left England for NZ 50 years ago (big mistake) I have been back a few times, but am now enjoying the places that I knew, and some that I never got to see, on RU-vid. Thanks for your great work!
Thanks again Jim. The roads can get gridlocked in the summer and the towns extremely busy as can the popular highest mountains such as Scafell Pike, Helvellyn and Skiddaw but some of the other less well know fells, mid week out of season you can still have to yourself.
We recognised parts of this walk from a holiday in 2008, spent in the area. This short film brought back some very happy memories. We loved the stunning views, colours and light shown in your film - we agree with you guys, there is nothing like the Lake District!
Hi, when we walked away from High Park we followed a minor road towards Little Langdale. We didn’t go down the coniston path which heads south but continued until we reached Slaters Bridge which crossed the river on our right hand side. There are paths that can take you to Slaters Bridge and Little Langdale but we didn’t follow them in this video. Hope that helps.
