I can tell you one thing....those Train riders were mezmerized by your kiting skills.....(thats a fact)....Super Sketchy but also super fun.....loved the music track and the drone shots were out of this world!! Cheers, 1000 islands Canada

I kite there quite a bit. I personally saw a situation where two guys I had never seen before launched each other. One guys kite was in the air and at the same time he was holding his mates kite ready for launching but panicked in a gust and let go of the kite when his mate was not ready. The mate tried to control the kite but turns out he was not that experienced and did not release. The kite went into a loop and went over the power lines with him dangling and being yanked up and down under the cables while the kite was going nuts in the wind trying to pull him over. Sparks were flying that burned though the kite lines and he fell like a sack of potatoes onto the train tracks, the kite went flying across the road through the traffic. I thought he had been electrocuted but he was lucky and only broke his arm. I was the only other guy on the beach and had my lines in my hands with my back towards them when they were launching and I assumed I would launch the second guy but when turned around that's what i saw. There are lots of "shocking" stories about that place.

Why someone would choose that spot in CT is beyond me...there are so many spots that are a pleasure to ride including Langebaan 100kms away on a blue lagoon...it looked like u were forced to do that spot for a promo or something...anyway hope u had fun on better spots after that one cause its about fun and not fear of getting zapped on train power lines.
