I am in absolute shock right now, Rest In Peace Jordan Blake. Your music literally changed my life forever, we will all miss you so much. We’ll meet again at the skylines my friend 💔
This is gold!! That first burn the city demo is rough...I love how you can hear the vast improvement in melody writing/songwriting in the second demo. These guys are awesome
Not only we have to give proper credits to Jordan because how raw and brutal where his screams, but we have to praise how awesome is this EP. I'm now into a screamo revival and this band is one of my favorite one. Thanks for sharing this perfect EP.
This came demo was released end of 2005 there's a video where they ask people to buy their demo for $5 it's a video on here from December 2005 Live at the Underground. Then they won battle of the bands in 2006 around spring/summer of that year and then theh used the money they won from that to record She Watched the Sky with the new songs at the time they wrote. Really great band growing up listening too.
According to Columbus is a great demo version of the song....RIP Jordan... great voice and talent...it's sad but at least he's not suffering...I believe there are worse things then death....even though he's not here. All of his fans will miss him I'm sure....once again RIP Jordan Blake.....(Meeeeet meeee at the skyyyy linnnneeee, wait for you to go...)
the song titled sucker is trash af. fcking absolute trash. Jag's voice is trash also. he was never been good live and doesn't even know how to handle the crowd and hype em. fck jag.
@@zaedrah3378 I think Jordan's main problem was that his screaming was straining and would wear out his singing voice. A Skylit Drive even told Jag not to scream for that reason
Makes me sad hearing this. 2009 high school days.. wow how time has passed. This brings back such feels.. I'll be back again in 10 years. Myspace scene kid era live on!
First heard this after finding them randomly on MySpace in autumn 2006. Although I was blown away by the quality of Wires... and got to know Jag for a while back in 2007-2008 I will always prefer this demo over anything else they’ve done.
