Thanks for sharing your daily life with us. I really love these everyday vlogs you guys make. I especially like when you show all the visuals of what ingredients go into the food; the mixer mixing, washing laundry, a countryside drive with lovely scenery, the food you eat in cafes along the way. Baking, gardening, dancing, playing with cats. It's just normal stuff but I find it very therapeutic and calming. I like to watch when I have my supper. Or tidying the living room. It's like having friends speak to me.

Homemade Soup: Bisque 🦀 is a favorite of ours. My husband makes it and we usually use the imitation Crab 🦀 unless its for a more special occasion with friends. Your cats are beautiful. We have a Russian Blue and she's dearly spoiled 💘 by our two Maltese Poodles. They treat her like she's their baby 👶 😄. Of course, we 💘 them all. Enjoyed your video day.

Home made soup is the best, you should treat yourselves to a soup maker, it's as easy as boiling a kettle. Have you thought about adding some catnip into your garden to see if helps to keep Beau in the garden as he seems to love being outside.

I suppose these times are forcing everyone to be more economical. In the long run it's not that bad an idea anyway. With detergent, most things get clean with cool or warm water! How about French Onion soup! Yummy

Great video as always , Love your weekly vlogs and thank you for letting us into your lives. Just something to think about, the quick wash programme , on your machine , It does not save you money because the cycle is done in a quicker time. Believe it or not, it's an urban myth . If you wash something quicker , then the compromise is, it will take more energy to complete that cycle in a quicker time. ( a bit like if you drive your car faster to get to a destination , it will cost you more fuel to get there ) If you want to save energy reduce your temperature on a normal cycle and you will save money. Sorry , i worked for a washing machine manufacturer for 15 years , so still a bit of a washing machine nerd to this day . LOL . I am amazed that you also ate having an egg shortage-we in the USA are experiencing the same 😢issue and some folks complain they must pay $12 per dozen. I have hens and ducks however so there is great demand from my ladies who lay but being winter they are more concerned with keeping warm. Havent really noticed much of an egg shortage in north idaho however. I think some just prefer farm eggs to store-bought.

Elliot, I had a computer meltdown a couple days ago too. I had an ancient desktop with Win7 from 2013 and I have everything saved to the cloud. Ordered a new laptop today for about $1100. It was time!

hwy, nice vlog, I watched your laundry video and 30 is fine in most cases but yhyour machine is very economical on 30 degree for any cycle . What I would say is I would do cottons speed perfect 30 rather than quick 30 that longer time allows detergent to dissolve better and rinsed better while still saving lots money

Elliot, love your cake making skills :) try Tortellini soup, the tomatoe base veg or you can add chicken. My favorite soup is Wicked Thai Chicken soup. I had it in a restaurant a few years ago, searched the recipe and been making it ever since. Love your vlogs guys.

I'm just curious, is that dog behind the fence that Beau Beau keeps climbing on the top of, dangerous? You don't seem to concerned about it. I would be losing my mind; but then, my four babies are all indoor cats. The day is coming (no matter how much you may doubt it), that Beau might take that leap. I just hope he is going to be okay if/when it happens.

So 5 loads at 30 degrees are cheaper than 2 loads at 40 degrees. Great, good to know. That's why following government advice always pays off!

Towels and bedding need to be washed at 60 degrees it would be better to reduce the washing time unless you want to add some Dettol laundry fresh to kill the bacteria.
