I just wanted to say, i love your vlogs, i could listen to your voice all day long, its so soothing, your such a lovely person and its so lovely to someone that just chats about everything. I have ibs, had gallstones and gall bladder removed but have always had digestive problems so would love to see your health journey. Thank you for sharing and sending you so much love xxx

I am definitely interested in hearing about your journey with this diet. Digestion really does effect your health. I know I feel better when I eat less junk. But my nemesis is sugar. I love chocolate. So I've decided on a once a week indulgence. So sweet to see the boys getting along so well.

I just laughed so much as you panned past the washing... I spotted the rolled up tea towel down the side of the machine. I KNOW why that’s there! 😅

I know you veered away ftom veganism, and I totally understand, but I switched to a wfpb lifestyle, and it's been life changing. Less anxiety, deppression, healthy weight loss, lowered my cholesterol, I have boundless energy, my ibs has cleared up, etc, etc... The catalyst was reading How Not To Die, then getting the cookbook. Hope your new food journey works for you, wishing you luck. Love the new ragdoll, glad they have each other. Take care....😊

I have to say that watching your videos calm me so much! I started watching your videos when you got Echo because I was thinking of getting a Ragdoll kitten. I will finally be picking him up mid August from a great breeder that I've been on her waiting list for a Ragdoll for so long, I'm so glad it's almost here! I have ADHD and need to find ways to call myself down. I also have IBS and have also been thinking of working on my diet. I interested in seeing your journey. I wish you and your "littte boys" the best!

I didn't realise you'd be getting another Ragdoll so 'soon' - it's so lovely you have. Hope you're both enjoying having 2 boys. I'd be interested to know your thoughts on the 'ease/requirements' of having 2 cats vs just 1, after you have had a few weeks with R. No pressure, just asking in case it was something you were considering sharing xx

I find your channel so refreshing. I have two male cats that have grown up together as well, although like you we brought one home sooner than the other. They are 3 now but they were such a handful when they were little. Also, I have anxiety, horrible periods and chronic back pain and it is just so refreshing for you to talk to openly about your health issues. It has really helped me to accept the imperfections of my life whilst enjoying the beautiful parts. I also like garden and now I often think of you when my cats are tied up outside and I am busy weeding---until I too hit a wall and cannot do anymore. =)

Rory and Echo they are soooo cute together :) yes would love to follow your diet journey, when we have a chronic disease what and how we eat is such a big part of the healing process and unfortunately most of the doctors who followed me through this journey never felt it was important...fortunately I got interested in it and as a good Scorpio I deep dived into it and discovered so many intersting things and have changed my eating habits and just made a final check up this last week and I no longer have Grave's Disease and we are now going to reduce the medicine I'm taking so yes, it's a full time job at the beginning but it's worth it. I'm a vegetarian and I've highly reduced gluten (this last think made me lose half of my belly as I was always bloated, I now eat only bread 2 or 3 times per week and it's not regular bread it's "engrain" (think that's the name in english) and reduced all flours (only using almond flour in cakes and so). I also got a steam cooker and it has changed the way I cook and my life, it's amazing. If I can give you an option for your aluminium when you make the salmon which is not healthy try and use baking paper it's much better and it works the same. Also the good type of supplements, we really need vitamine D3 when we have a chronic disease (and not only) and in most countries (Uk, north of Belgium where I am etc) we don't get enough sun even in the summer and even if you stay the whole day outside so I take vit D3 every day of the year. Selenium also very important. I could go on and on...but yes the good diet that fits your needs it's the first place to start to heal oneself. All the best. A big hug to Rory and Echo :)

I’d love to watch along with your diet. I have had terrible digestion and exhaustion, and gone on the journey of healing. I look at it as a journey since my body is constantly changing so what didn’t work yesterday may work today. thank you for sharing your struggles, it helps so much to not feel like the odd man out. I so wish I was there to help support you in your journey! I found that food is so much a matter of habit. I know what is not working for me and it is worth it to find healthful alternatives. They are out there!

Your garden is looking so good. I have lots of hydrangeas and you can cut the dead heads to encourage new flowers, they dry really well also if you cut them just before they start to go brown and put them in a vase of water and they will naturally dry out. I would keep them out the way from the cats as I am not sure if they might be harmful. Have you thought of growing cat mint (proper name is Nepeta - nothing like mint) s they love to roll in it.

Leave the hydrangeas until spring then prune all the old flowers heads cutting back to the first pair of strong buds below a flowerhead. Last years flowerheads give the new buds some protection against late frosts. Obviously cut out any damaged or diseased bits.

Would love to hear more about how your health is progressing. I have endometriosis and had two tennis ball large cysts removed, and my fallopian tube about 7 years ago, had had problems with menstruation and intestinal system for many years until surgery. At the same time I changed my diet to vegan, it has done good for my intestinal system. I have just been diagnosed with fibromyalgia and atopic allergy. My hair falls out, I remember poorly and I am terribly tired all the time. But a good mood, relaxation, healthy diet, time in nature and a good network are important. And then of course nice vlogs, thanks for them. I wish you the best . And last but not least, congratulations on the little new cat in the house, so sweet.

Hee Kay! Thank you for this relaxing, honest, comfortable video. You take such good care of your cottage, garden en family. It's lovely to see and to watch you grow over the years. I'm glad to hear you got the referral you needed from your gp. And I'm sure you'll figure out what diet works best for you and your system! For me, gluten is the biggest issue. My digestive system is finally finding some balance now that I'm not eating gluten anymore. Quitting refined sugar has supported my mental energy. As well as maca, saffron and magnesium bisglycinate supplements. I can definitely recommend visiting a licensed natural doctor, to give you personal advise on your gut, what to skip and what supplements might suit your system best. I got such good advice from a natural doctor in my town. She works as a gp and has her own practice in natural medicine on the side. Perfect combination if you ask me :) But this is just my perspective. You'll find your way, Kay! You got this! With love from the Netherlands.

You looked gorgeous in your dress by the way... Rory has loads of energy and it’s lovely to see them playing together. It would be interesting to see the food diet you’ll be changing to. I also have stomach issues which I think is IBS although I haven’t been to a doctor to get diagnosed. It’s just that I can’t be bothered to list everything I eat and try to find foods that trigger the pain and the constantly going to the toilet! I don’t have it all the time but I would say once every two to three months but it’s still an inconvenience when it does come around.

Hello beautiful! He woke poor Echo up with a pounce lol! That must have been a fright for Echo 🤗🙏🏽 they seem to be doing better each day! Would love to see how you manage both in the garden! There’s nothing I don’t like about this time with you and your babes 😃🤗🙏🏽🥰! Always excited for these long day/week in your life. Being in the garden it did remind me of a question I meant to ask in the vlog where you brought out the strawberries and I remember watching you (well that sounds creepy stalkery 😆) put the baskets where the bird feeds were and meant to ask, wouldn’t the birds also eat the berries? Mint dies take over like crazy! Lol. If you are having acid reflux at all, I recommend against it. There are actually contraindicators with mint and certain stomach issues. Tea looked so yum! None for Dom 😜?! I would definitely love to see both dedicate videos on your health journey but also as part of the vlogs! Like today, sharing what you made as part of the day’s journey itself 😃. Really happy you are on the road to getting medical answers as well! I did find it funny that you said it was a slow loving day… Sister! Did you see how much you accomplished! But I guess there’s a difference between slow living and lazy restful days?🤔😄🙈 sure… that’s what I am (trying anyway) doing today! Have an amazing weekend with the fam! See you soon! 😃🤗🙏🏽🥰

Loved this one and youre looking absolutely radiant! I wish you success on your new diet, and it would be really interesting to follow along. As a histamine intolerant individual I just want to give you heads up about broths and fermented stuff that are really high in histamine.. and if in case you dont feel better on the (or any) new diet dont listen to anyone convincing you that youre experiencing some "detox" ("Herxheimer") reaction.. 🥳 Ive had that when in fact I was having a really bad reaction to a high salicylate food..

id just like to say I hope you are able to sort out your health as I know what it's like to feel like rubbish and not really get anywhere fast...i was lucky in that I found out a major part of my problem was not absorbing b12 which I mentioned in another video..as you can tell iv obv watched more since 😅...but in regards to the books iv bought loads and never actually ended up following any as it was to overwhelming esp when I had major brain fog and fatigue...however once I found out about b12 and got much better I eventually was able to overhaul my diet but not follow a specific protocol that had phases ect to further improve my health...and I think this is probably the easiest way to start and you can always ajust to how you see fit. what I did and highly recommend is to cut out all grains all veg/seed oils they are inflammatory no doubt about it the oils I mean..no lentils..peas..beans legumes and eat mainly all animal foods like meat fish poultry eggs dairy bone broths...including animal fats and plant fats like avocado oil and olive oil. vegetables with the occasional fruit nuts/seeds. this in it's simplist form is a low carb diet. it's believed that the carbs even natural ones can cause inflammation in the body as all carbs end up as glucose no matter the source its come from. so by cutting down on carbs(sugar) it will reduce inflammation and improve health. it took me a long time to get to where Iam now..i cook everything from scratch including spice blends as the premade ones including the little jars have added sugar and less desirable ingredients. I didn't start off this clean eating but as I got more into it and saw more improvements it spurred me on to cut out as much processed stuff as I could..even down to making iced teas/infusions so I was no longer drinking squash or diet pop. and roasting my own nuts to cut out the veg/seed oils. the point i was trying to make was that I got some low carb books and started making the recipes until eventually all my meals had been swapped out..so I reduced the carbs/processed foods over time which was alot easier on my body to transition as when you cut out the processed carbs and switch to lower natural carbs your body will go through withdrawal.

An MRI would be the best test. As well polycystic ovarian syndrome is not always seen with ultrasound. A complete hormone panel done through blood work is the best. I wish you all the best and hope you can figure this out. The process to bring g properly diagnosed is not easy and can be stressful. Keep at it. 🌺

I was given a purple drink I had to choke down! Taken to the ultrasound room then and I was diagnosed with Endo! I was referred to a doctor who recommended birth control and an injection shot! That’s it I was sent home and you know doc said it’s common just take some painkillers and if the pain gets unbearable then surgery is the next step! That’s it!

This might seem crazy to ask but I have to. I've never had a pet indoors but now I want to and I'm leaning towards adopting a cat. I've learnt learnt lot watching and reading about ragdoll, I can handle everything owning a cat or any pet at all can throw at me unless dealing with poop 🥺🥺 reason dogs are no no for me it's crazy I know and I'm sorry. I just want to know do any of yours do their business around your house besides their litter box? Echo especially since you've had him the longest. Let me know pls

Hello, I hope you don't mind me leaving this comment, just got to the bit of the video where you say about ultrasound to check for endometriosis etc. It often doesn't show up on ultrasounds unfortunately so if you do have other symptoms of endo, make sure they send you to a gynae consultant.xx

@@sarahmaurice3930 I had an ultrasound and I can’t remember where they wheeled me off to after that but yeah I was diagnosed with endo and I was told to take BC pills and then surgery would be the next option! So far I’ve been managing every woman is different!

Hi Kay, I watch a channel called Farmhouse on Boone, you may get some good info on fermentation, making Sour Dough starter, yogurt etc. The lady is from the US and she makes homemade food for her family. Very interesting channel. May help, check it out.☀️
