Friday 6th September a day we had been waiting for all year, looking forward to a glorious sunny Goodwood, but the weather conspired against us and it rained all day. However that didn't dampen the spirits even if a two hour delay on the motorway did its best to spoil it. Lotus's, ERA's, Nortons, Vincents, Cobras, Jaguars, Ferraris, Maseratis and more all raced despite the weather. Cars of all makes and vintages braved the mud and rain to bring a spectacle of a different type. Hopefully you enjoy this challenging video, short on time and difficult with the conditions but hopefully nonetheless gives a flavour of Goodwood when the sun is replaced by rain.
