I feel smarter every time I watch one of these videos but my mom gets freaked out when I tell her the exact temperature of a day that was about 6 years ago :/
Austin: "Think of all the productive things you could be doing instead of watching a video like this" Me: Thinks about my chemistry homework I’ve been avoiding Austin's whiteboard: "STEREOCHEMISTRY"
The information about refrigerating your cookie dough is VERY USEFUL and very true. Another factoid to go with that is to carefully brown the butter first before creaming in the sugar. Mix as normal then refrigerate overnight. Try it.
“A solid 15 minutes of useless information” *proceeds to give me incredibly useful information on how to get better tasting cookies* I’ve been lied to.
Zac Weston-Edwards i said “pointless” not “worthless.” they have two different meanings. there’s barely any classes i know of that have a point of going to.
well, i'm just pissed of the amount, anyways one reply every 12 millions sent seem unrealistic... but what actually hits my nerves is scam calls, they must be rendered illegal
@@Wert-eo7sz its a theory not fact. People tend not to now the difference. Its like giving an answer for what dark matter is. There is only theory no satisfying mathmatical answer
@@silasglam2452 From wiki: "A scientific theory is an explanation of an aspect of the natural world that can be repeatedly tested and verified in accordance with the scientific method." Relativity, natural selection, heliocentrism are all "only theories", despite being *hugely* researched and repeatedly confirmed. To say something is a theory doesn't mean there isn't mountains of evidence supporting it.
"In second place of most useless information over a long period of time, AustinMcConnell with 15 minutes." "In first place, school, with roughly 16 years of useless information."
RU-vid: Solid 15 minutes of useless information Schools: Lets test students on everything in this video, parents will teach taxes instead. Parents: School should have taught you taxes. Me: I know right?
There was a man that was almost assassinated multiple times because he proved the stoplights take photos during the yellow phase while people are still driving in the intersection
*Clicks on video labeled A Solid 15 Minutes of Useless Information* Video begins... "This video is brought to you by Squarespace." Me: I see we're off to a great start.
id say its not decimals of a second, but rather number of frames since the previous second. using the comma and period keys, that number changes by one with every frame. and 24 frames a second would actually make a lot of sense.
@@ochacouraraka219 well im glad you found something useful in the video, but i do still stand by the belief that this video is only going to be useful in some quiz. even if parts like the stereochemistry fascinate you, from what i saw in the video, uh, its 98% useless and (atleast for me) boring
@@bradenhobbs7018 well okay you are right, they sprinkled in some more useful information but seriously most of the video is random trivia, what even are we arguing about anymore lol
Pretty seamless transition from cocker spaniel’s orthopaedic issues to a richer flavour of cookies. Definitely thought you were suggesting a richer flavour of dog.
I think it’s crazy that i learned about the holding the spacebar feature on iphones solely because of a video about “useless information” and have been using it since lol.
On the tornado watches and warnings thing, there is also an enhanced warning known as a tornado emergency, which is generally issued when a tornado capable of large amounts of damage moves towards a heavily populated area. The first use of this warning was during the May 3rd, 1999 tornado outbreak, when a large F5 tornado moved towards the cities of Bridge Creek and Moore, Oklahoma.
An average round lunch plate is about 19 cm in diameter and weighs somewhere between 260-335 grams. The first widespread commercial webcam, called QuickCam, was released in 1994 and was made by Connectix. It takes 12-14 litres of paint to mark an AFL football field. A European football (soccer) field, however, takes just about 12 spray cans of 225 ml each. The country with the tallest average population is The Netherlands (175.62 cm avg.). The surface area of Rotterdam harbour area is 12,500 hectares (30,888 acres).
@@austinmcconnell 1. I have several types of lunch plates. Spent 10 minutes measuring and weighing them and got those average numbers. 2. My big brother bought that exact webcam after reading about it in a tech magazine - aaaaaand he had nothing to use it for. 3. That was mentioned briefly before some NFL game. Googled it just to make sure I remembered correctly. 4. Googled that one completely, mostly as a continuation of the last one. 5. Knew that from my geography classes in school. 6. I knew Rotterdam has Europe's biggest harbour, but I couldn't remember the numbers. Googled again. :)
