I want to say thank you to every single person in the staff who tries everyday to improve these children's lives! Worked in law enforcement and have been around kids with autism and it's a lot of work and dedication and I wish there were more facilities like Exmoor here in the US!
If I lived in the uk this is where I would like to work this is a amazing place the trip was incredible I am in love with this facility and alll of the children
I have autism in mainstream still then I might be in a new school by next year September also the shut up and dance with me was the last year 6 leavers song for mine in 2022
All this time spent waiting... We should know from prior material on the subject of people with disabilities what they can do, how much they can do, that there's a lot they can do, yet you act like none of that exists, come along with this reset button, and give us this small glimpse.
Genetics usually. My daughter had a genetic disorder. Not all of these kids are sick they just have symptoms of having faulty genes. You have to remember a lot of these children would have died just a few decades ago. My daughters condition galactosaemia wasn’t discovered till the 50’s before then babies would have just died. Her condition means she cannot have milk. Because she was diagnosed late due to nhs negligence, she sustained brain damage. But the condition can cause learning, speech and movement disorders whether they are brain damaged or not . My nephew has a genetic thyroid condition. He’s 100% fine but just a decades ago he would have been disabled because they didn’t have the medication they do now that kept him alive and well and stopped him from sustaining brain damage.
