I love this one. I remember when you first started experimenting with the 'Splodge & Scribble" method. You have come a long way and it's obvious that you are way more comfortable with this method now. I think you've given a lot of us more confidence in that this is very doable especially when just trying to capture the essence of a landscape in a short amount of time. Keeping in mind the 4 steps you have shown here is quite useful as one approaches this method. This is wonderful. Thanks for sharing.

Another beauty ❤ I was just thinking that when you start selling prints (hint, hint!!), postcard sets would be great too, I would love to buy a downloadable pack of your reference photos. They’re always so well composed and stunningly beautiful and I would love to be able to paint from them. Everything you do is just so well done, you have a real talent for capturing beauty, in both paint and photography.

I just happened to come across the one you did of your home in France (where your dad played his accordion.) and I was hooked. I’ve enjoyed exploring through your videos ever since. Love this and what a fabulous photo too❤️ We are going for a short break to Scotland in a few week and i really want to try your technique. I'm a perfectionist that 'fiddles' way too much so I'm trying to work looser and faster and this technique seems perfect for that. Also, thank you for telling us how much time you spent on various stages, I find this really helpful because it's not always easy to judge from watching the video🙏🏼

To my eye, the painting was perfect before the addition of the lines. The lines gave it more of an illustration look/feel. Just my opinion.
