@@vincentkennedymcmahon50 While I Agee to some degree, you're speaking as if what Toni is doing isn't good and is only good because everything is so bad and I disagree. I personally believe that the reason why women's wrestling suffers everywhere is because the fans. Men's have some God awful matches but are still watched. I will speak only to AEW but Tony Khan has been extremely transparent and honest that he follows the ratings. And if we want to see more and better women's matches/stories, we've got to stop treating them like bathroom breaks and support them.

Dude, this Marilyn Monroe gimmick is honestly GENIUS. Toni storm is selling the shit out of this and I want more of it. Through out the whole rise of women’s wrestling over the last 10 years, this gimmick was right there for the taking and can’t believe no one has done it till now.

It’s more Norma Desmond from the film Sunset Boulevard than Monroe but yeah, the gimmick is tremendous. Really nice to see Toni have a character she can really sink her teeth into because the ring work was always there

@@erickdubose123 It’s pretty obvious when she says “Mr. Khan, I’m ready for my closeup!” before her finishing sequence. Although she ripped “chin up, tits out” from The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. I will say referring to her chops as “titty slaps” is Toni’s alone 😂

The camera shot was definitely a lot more ready for the "closeup" spot on Timeless Toni, which was still entertaining as hell, but I kinda liked the frantic vibe of the camera cutting and doing a quick zoom in on Toni, before she remembered "oh, I have to slam Skye Blue now, and win my match." It was almost the opposite of the camera shot Best Friends do when they hug Orange Cassidy. I liked how in the Skye Blue match, it felt like the camera was trying to keep up with Toni, during the closeup. I like it either way, though. Timeless Toni is great.

@@James-if3kc the gimmick was all she was missing. I always loved Toni Storm in the ring, she's a natural, but she really did just need the character to fit. A star that's afraid she's been forgotten, still being very good at what she doesn't but can't shake the paranoia of being forgotten is perfect. It's too the point where she doesn't even need the belt but fans are starting to rally that she should win it at some point as Timeless Toni Storm. It would be a MASSIVE pop when that time comes but first they need to build a proper dance partner for her. Despite her antics she's getting babyface responses so she would need to win the belt against a heel. A mega heel.

Super proud of Kiera she’s doing great, they both made each other look good this match. Toni is my favorite wrestler to watch right now. Some how every week the character work she is doing is getting better and better, and she already was amazing in-ring so combining all of that together is next level.

But the transition from going to war with Athena on ROH which is barely watched to getting your booty ate on live television by Toni doesn't sit well with me.
