Whoever made this trailer should win an award. I think I have watched it no less than 50 times, each time getting chills. Nothing Gaga can't do. Can't wait for this.
Michael Altneu same! I get the kind of butterflies a girl gets in her teens with her first boyfriend, every time I watch them. I watch this at least every day, just waiting for the movie. Best trailer I have ever seen. Evokes so many feelings!
Bradley co wrote, directed, acted, sang and spent four years working on this. He cast the perfect singer and a new acting star alongside him. The film was incredible from start to finish and is definitely getting the Oscar nod.
Cyrus Rosébae No. This here is beautiful i.imgur.com/sZZj3hQ.jpg, Lady Gaga is ugly as F. But it' so easy to manipulate and brainwash all the sheep, they can't distinguish Red Riding Hood from the Bad Wolf, Hollywood has the technology and the psychological tricks to take a piece of crap and transforming it into a shiny diamond
@@Aircheekz Since we can't show our CV's here, all i can do is to tell you that i'm neither shallow, nor uneducated, don't judge me by my english, it's just my third language. And yes "beauty is in the eye of the beholder", but Gaga don't even covers the main criteria for a beautiful face and she's definitely doesn't have an erotic aura. I understand though how easily people can fall for Hollywood tricks, it doesn't take more than a face expression and someone get's a crush for an actor who isn't even attractive. At the end of the day, it's all subjective and everyone has his own criteria and therefore his beauty prototypes. When you have a really beautiful and intelligent girlfriend with an academic degree and a great humour, it's not easy to make a compliment for a woman (?-i'm not even sure she's one) like Gaga, especially if her work in music is pretty much trash, there's not even one song which is bearable for someone with a good taste in music.
As much as I like "Bohemian Rhapsody" and "Green Book", it's such a shame that this film only won one Oscar. This is truly the remake, and movie of our time.
SilentxKillerx5 I watched both movies and they both tell a very good story. The only difference is, one ended with the bad guys winning while the other ended on a good note but not for long.
Just saw it and it is incredible. A million times better than I was anticipating. The music is phenomenal; i want to run right out and buy the soundtrack now!!
Jib Wangler Or about a frustrated person, without social life, writing silly comments on the internet bc his family doesn't give him the necessary attention?. Yes, that's u..
I had no idea Bradley Cooper could sing! And I think Lady Gaga's more natural look is very pretty. I loved the Barbra Streisand/Kris Krisofferson version, and this one looks pretty good.
CraftyLittleDevil I will never forget that movie. It was beautiful. I ended up buying the soundtrack when vinyl's where so popular. One of the best movies I saw as a teen that will never be forgotten. I hope the new movie brings great memories for everyone that sees this
I hope Lady Gaga gets recognition if her acting is as great as I think it is. Definitely out of the women singers of the last 10 years, the most talented in all formats.
I have never sobbed more in my whole entire life from a film, as I did when I watched this. Lady Gaga and Bradley have such synergy, it is palpable and heartbreaking all at the same time.
Ok...when Bradley started singing, I can imagine buying his folk album. When Gaga started singing, yea, I'm gonna wanna watch this movie when it comes out. Perfect autumn movie for a date. And the cinematography is just so beautiful, it evokes a certain nostalgia.
Who came here after watching the trailer for "House of Gucci"? Gaga's versatility in music and acting is unmatched! This is her time to solidify herself as an actress.
What i like is that it's not one of those trailers that's better than the film. That seems to have been a trend the last few years. Alot of trailers have stopped giving away the entire movie, but many are actually making the film look better than it is.
I don’t think I’ve ever had the level of anticipation for a movie like I did with this. I bet I watched this trailer 100 times before the movie came out, and got chills every single time. I got pregnant with my first child at age 40 about 2 weeks after this movie came out. 2 years on, watching this again, brings back such memories and fond feelings. What a long way we’ve all come since then.
Wow!! This looks incredible!! Bradley’s voice are amazing. And Gaga wow. I mean I always knew she could sing brilliantly but her acting spot on too! And she’s gorgeous!!! So excited to see this!!!
@@bikotheanimator6169lmao you’re one of those that thinks it’s “boring” because it’s not filled with action, comedy, bells and whistles. You have to have maturity, empathy and emotional intelligence to love this movie
OMFG The voice of Gaga is so penetrating. Even if you're not tied to her, you can feel her soul. I can't wait for the soundtrack, it's so fabulous!!!! They may be nominated for the Oscars. Gaga it's so undervalued!!.
You might want to check up on that Billy she's not wearing anything except for a little face cream there's actually news stories on it! And I fully agree with the op she looks dramatically better like this especially with the brown hair.
Mallaury Garioud Vox did a whole article on how Bradley Cooper made her take off her makeup during her audition because the character doesn’t wear makeup in the movie and is not glamorous like Gaga is in real life.
A trailer that draws you in AND doesn't give away every detail of the movie! Thank god Update: I just saw the movie, and it is absolutely spectacular everybody.
Walter White although this is the fourth remake of a very famous story and we know exactly what will happen. We’re coming to the party for Bradley and Gaga.
Walter White thats good (don’t read for spoilers, be surprised) go see the new one first, you will love it - and then watch the older ones - they are classic movies, all three of them that came before this one! 🙏🏻
I have seen this trailer many times and when Gaga starts signing at the end of it I get goosebumps. Every time. Bradley and Gaga are so perfect together. And this trailer is so well made. I can’t wait to see the movie. ❤️
I think this is the first time I’ve ever seen Lady Gaga so clearly as if she’s normal just like all women. She's so damn beautiful without makeup it's a revelation
@Δανάη Καραφουλίδου I like her music a lot but I'm not a die hard fan that I follow her on all social networking sites & or I'm not aware of what's going on with her. I just respect her a lot.
It’s really sad when you hear the line at 1:01 where she’s talking about how people liked the way she sounded but didn’t like the way she looked. That’s something Lady Gaga has actually struggled with becoming an artist. She’s had producers tell her that she isn’t pretty enough to become a pop singer or that her nose is too big. I think she’s gorgeous, and I’m glad that line made it into the film
You can really tell, it sounds so raw and high quality. You can really feel the passion and realness in the vocals this way. Hard to find in music now days.
yeah bolstered better fun fact: it's been addressed by Warner and Bradley Cooper that he wasn't certified as movie producer, he was just credited as per contractual agreements only. Just like he was on Man of Steel back in 2013. That man has kept a low profile for years, it just happened that before these allegations he was part of making the movie possible since 2012. People keep starting more rumors to put this film down but they just fail 🤷🏻♂️
The most underrated movie at Oscars. But hey, this movie robbed our hearts. Also, it was very real. The screenplay, words everything. Not to mention that all the songs were original from scratch. I hope this movie will put some light at the disease of alcoholism. Alcoholism is never associated alone. Depression first, alcoholism comes next.
Honestly I was debating on whether to watch the movie or not and if it's worth it and I can tell you for sure that it is one of the best movies I have ever watched. The story is amazing, Gaga and Bradley played tremendously and just made the movie a thousand times better!! It was honestly worth it and deserved more than one Oscar at least for me!! Also Gaga's talent is beyond this world!! Her voice is just sooooo beautiful, strong and gentle at the same time!! Her singing gives me goose bumps every time 😍😍😍❤❤
I’m a 36 year old male and saw the movie last night. Couldn’t leave my seat at the end for about three minutes because I couldn’t stop crying. This is a movie that touches SO deep, and is so believable. Gaga can act beautifully, and I think Bradley Cooper has nailed it behind the camera, as well as acting and singing. I think we’ll see a lot more of him directing now, it was totally on point. My pick for best picture at the next Oscars
Mark Wilken I love the fact that it touches every generation at this point. I’m only 15 but I’m glad I can see life more maturely. I’ve been in love for over a year now and it all started off as we were both singers and I really wanted to convince her to sing with me and even wrote my own songs. I have suceeded in arranging those duets. But now, she is happier than ever and at the peak of her singing ability and me... I have hard times singing because I always find a piece of myself in the compositions. If you have come this far, thank you. It’s such a beauty that this movie reflects myself in some ways and that I can cry to it whenever I watch it.
Bradley Cooper absolutely nails the mindset of an alcoholic. Having been through the ups and downs of this lifestyle I know all too well how it feels and how it affects everyone around me. This film is extremely sad but also beautiful and poignant. 10 out of 10 it's stunning!
Shelby Steele he vaguely talks about it in some q&as where he said he's been through what Jackson has gone through. Also there was another interview from years ago. that tv segment said that phase of his life happened before Wedding crashers during his late 20s.
Seeing some comments that A Star Is Born copied a Bollywood film called Aashiqui 2 is annoying. ASIB was first released in 1937, then remade in 1954, 1976 and now. Aashiqui 2 was made in 2013. So Bollywood fans, stop embarrassing yourselves with ignorance.
padacia Boogerwood fans need to stop. They are the ones copying our movies by adding some stupid fantasy world. Most of their movies are corny anyways.
This is the perfect comment, not sure why this is the first thought that these commenters have but it is genuinely embarrassing. It's a classic Hollywood movie, the likes that inspired many many others.
When I first saw this movie I was blown away by her acting. She is so so talented. Raw, pure, natural. Probably one of the finest actress in industry ever.
So at this point, I'm pretty convinced A Star Is Born will be remade every thirty years with different big name stars each time until the end of the world. Don't get me wrong, I know i'll watch them all. But I am glad gaga is in this one 😍😍😍😍
Yes, I'm biased because I love Judy Garland and the Oscar was stolen from her. I know Lady Gaga is terrific, but I still have my doubts. I wish they would just rename the movie: "I just wanted to take another look at you" was also in the 30''s version. I could listen to James Mason's voice all day.
Wow, you're going to be amazingly old. ;) I'm with you on this. The version with Barbra and Kris was my absolute favorite movie when I was a kid and I don't think that it's ever left me. I can't wait to watch this. Now I'm going to go listen to the old soundtrack.
AlexxEnglishh you can already tell by this trailer the acting won’t be like AHS. Again, she was playing the Countess, something she won Best Actress for, so quite frankly, you’re wrong and you’re comparing two different characters.
They didn't feature the principal conflict of the plot in the trailer. Well-played. After ages, I have seen an excellent trailer. I believe the movie is gonna be marvellous. Gaga is now a mature actor ❤ Oscar is definitely coming.
I just saw the movie. Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga were so believable. As I gathered, all songs were sung live. The LAST SONG though tore my soul......
cridecar Bradley coopers singing was awful. He let his ego get in the way and created a big flaw in this movie because he casted himself in a singing role
good movie. But her best friend, the latino guy should have been given something to do instead of just trail after her. It would have been nice if, by chance, he played the piano while she rehearsed for her show at the drag bars.
One of the best film I've ever seen! So raw. The emotions, the connection between the two of them.. Ive watched some reviews from the previous "star is born" movies and knew about the ending but still.. I cried and it broke my heart into pieces. This is 10/10!
This movie was disturbingly good. It felt too real for comfort. Like a truly old-fashioned movie experience. It’s no wonder people are hit so hard emotionally when they watch.
To some extent this is Gaga's real life story...she was really insecure growing up and not being her true self The difference is she did it by herself I understand why she accepted to be in this movie, she really cares about this character.
She can breakdance, and she pop, and if it come down to it, she can scrap Hey thereeeeeeeeeeeeeeee... here comes GAGA again! Here she comes ya'll Here she comes ya'll
Re: Lady Gaga’s Wail Gaga’s wail in shallow will go down in history as one of the smartest touches she’s put in her songs, including “Mah mah mah mah” in Poker Face, and “Ga ga uh la lah”in Bad Romance. When the trailer arrived, her fans were BLOWN AWAY with that emotionally charged vocalization, but it isnt until the song was officially released that the song became one of the biggest songs of 2019 worldwide. And it is crazy! A slow country rock ballad seemed to have the unlikeliest chance to dominate the world but it did so organically, even spending 45 freaking weeks on the Billboard Top 100! Its a no wonder people loved the movie so much, and just keep on buying and streaming the album for the sake of it. Once an artist, always an artist - and that’s why Gaga is here to stay.
One of the things gaga requested was for the songs to be recorded live so you are actually hearing their voices as the sang it on set ,I was there filming with them at Coachella and the 2 days I left crying ,there would be a scene where big orange chandeliers are in the background and she wears a white suit and plays the piano that song OMGAGA chills not even ready
This movie is perfect for Lady Gaga. When she was a teenage she was insecure of herself and then when she started using her stage name "Lady Gaga" her confidence and career ascended. She has always been talented, as the character in this film, it was just about time to get discovered and have her spotlight.
Just saw the film. I have cried so much. My heart is warm and broken at the same time. Incredible. The cinematography was magnificent. It felt so real. The screenplay, songs, score and the acting. My God, stupendous direction, acting and screenplay from Bradley Cooper. And of course, to the one and only, Lady Gaga. I knew she'd be spectacular, but she transcended and completely transformed into the perfect embodiment of Ally. This film, filled my heart with both joy and sadness. Pain and happiness. Love and heartbreak. If this film, Bradley and Lady Gaga, don't get nominated for an Oscar or Golden Globe, shit's fucked up because they delivered an astounding performance. 100/100
When I first saw the trailer and heard about the movie I was 50/50 about it, I thought it was gonna be about her becoming a singer and that she became famous and that’s it. But boy was a wrong, I’m so glad I ended up watching it. Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper did a phenomenal job! 10/10 beautiful movie! I love the way she sang “I’ll never love again” at the end my god I got goosebumps it was so beautiful 😭😩
Jesse Bond is fucking terrible. Which is why she should never be in a remake of this. A remake shouldn’t even be made, much less with someone who literally flat out lacks any natural singing talent.
I think the reason is that the vocals in this trailer were too powerful and professional, it didnt fit Ally character when she performed on a big stage for the first time 😂
Love Gaga, but being a fan of Garland & Streisand's version I was VERY cautious in hearing of a remake...but after seeing the trailer, this, I must say, looks not only promising but fresh. I'm in.
Believe it or not, Judy Garland's version was a remake. The original starred Janet Gaynor in the late 30's and her name was Vicky Lestor. She wasn't a singer, but an actress married to a movie star who was an alcoholic.
I actually have all three films in my movie collection, and I even used to own all three on VHS back during the ice age, lol. I've always been a fan of classic Selznick film productions, & I was able to find the Gaynor & March version of "ASIB" on DVD at a dollar store in 2003 😉 - and while I certainly enjoy the premise of the story, for some reason I was never quite satisfied with the ending of the original, so it's my least preferred version, & that's why it's not mentioned in my original post. Thanks for the note though, it may come in handy for those who may want to dig a little deeper into Hollywood film archives to see where the journey began. 🍸
Nick Bernath you should find a better place to trash your hateful, if you can find a more multifaceted alive artist than Lady Gaga actually you could tell me something boy.
Every few decades a person comes along and is an exceptionally breathtaking performer, they have it all and are a true talent. I think Lady Gaga is that person in today’s world. The way she thinks, performs and the way she looks is an art form in itself.
Given how remarkable her music career has been and just the level of performance and creativity she's brought to it already, I seriously underestimated how much she could have left to offer. Turns out, a hell of a lot. Her performance in A Star Was Born was brilliant, as were the songs. As a non-Gaga fan before now (respected her but didn't follow her work closely), I was blown away by the depths of her talent.
F E 100% agree with you. I never looked at her twice until I heard her non-pop song A million reasons, I was shocked to say the least. I was surprised and taken back and thought who is this. I then looked at her live performances and the reasons and art behind her songs. I saw her differently. Her performance at the SuperBowl was excellent too.
Gaga isn’t the same anymore. She’s changed. She’s better. She reveals new talents of her that we may didn’t know about. She’s a great artist! The movie is really great! Why Jack? 😢
Depression and alcoholism is a serious disorder, seek help and don't give up. There are a lot of friends and family that truly cares for you and your well being. It all gets better in time.
That’s the sad part about this movie. He met Allie and everyone thought he would Be ok. I mean it’s not like it’s a sad movie for god sake. It’s pretty happy and then the last ten minutes punch you in the face.
This movie is so beautiful. I cried. I laughed. I fell inlove. I love them both. I hope they make another movie just like this. With Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper again.
This was the best thing I’ve seen in ages. Not a dry eye in the theater. What an experience. Perfect cast, beautiful music. Thank you, Bradley and crew for giving us this incredibly special experience.
WOW :D GOOD FOR YOU MARY ANGELINA :D NICE FAMILY NAME WHY? BECAUSE THAT IS GAGA'S REAL LIF MIDDLE NAME :D BUT HER FULL NAME IN REAL LIFE IS STEFANI JOANNE LAST NAME GERMANOTTA :D
Everyone talks about Lady Gaga and she is beautiful, her voice is unique, but Bradley Cooper is so amazing! I fucking like the way he sings and how he puts his soul into everything he does. He deserves an Oscar. Really.
Brandon Finch yeah I know but I have seen a lot of nice comments to him too and nice comment about both Bradley Cooper & Lady Gaga. But I think people hype about Gaga more because it’s her first leading role in a movie & that the movie looks so good from what we have seen in the trailer so far.
I gonna watch this because: 1. I didn’t know Bradley Cooper could sing 2. Lady Gaga looks more beautiful without makeup and those crazy dresses 3. Mainly, Dave Chappelle is like younger Morgan Freeman in this movie.
