I have two tests, I got them two days ago. I've felt terrible ever since I got them waiting on my own confidence to even see what's up. I'm 24 and I've never done a test, really nerve wracking...
How did it go. What made you even want to get tested if you don't mind me asking?. I randomly looked up hiv and got stuck in a loop looking up symptoms and now I'm freaking out for no reason.
@@DaGang-tv well, it's a scary thought when you don't know, so it's better to be safer than sorry. The test went great, no problems so now I'm feeling much better. That was a load of my mind.. I was really stupid in my teenage years when I first started sleeping with girls and well, for some miraculous reasons I never got any STDs. I recommend you do a test with someone else just to feel better in the process.
U aren't the only one. I thought I was gonna drop dead when the tester was turning all red for the first minute or so. I prayed like never before for 30 minutes. Heart racing, started displaying all symptoms of hiv during those 30 minutes. Forget the part of looking at the results. Omgggg, it was not easy. Thank u Jesus that I am negative.
@@Ddr-smith7947 I mean what if u tested them and they were on window period which mark them as negative in the test but they are positive u will say that these people are clean but they are not what will u do here ?
@@omid.kamaranI got false positive it’s can’t reliably, got Oraquick test positive and next day went to see doctor do blood tests it’s negative best way to do is make appointment and do blood test don’t waste time for nothing (I’m do blood donation for 3 years so every 5 month once they sent result on blood testing not only HIV but other diseases too) and I got Oraquick test after risk for almost 7 month later I just want to test if it’s as accurate as they advertised but NO it’s make confuse and risky as if you got False negative you will not know and spared more virus and from HIV will become AID if you too late to go for treatment

I got another test and did two finger pricks at a clinic and they all said negative. I donate plasma each week and I haven’t been with anyone in almost a year and all of a sudden they said I had tested positive for hiv. So I’m still in shock and not believing the negative tests now. This has been a terrible past few days.

I tested negative but now I’m worried bc I used the roof of my mouth and under my tongue. Does anyone know if that will affect the test. My test only has one line
Am so worried about this procedure..cant we do this test without making the strip to get in contact with our gum.. someone told me he had the test and was negative after few testing again came out positive wen he wasnt exposed...wish there were other methods of collecting the fluid without it touching our gum
Take this oral test has nothing more than a first impression. If you are negative, then it’s a huge sigh of relief, but I highly recommend you all get the blood test for better and more accurate results. Remember only a doctor and a professional kid diagnose you with any disease.
Question... If someone has HIV/AIDS, has been taking their medication, let's say for ten years, if the take this Oraquick, will it still show them being HIV/AIDS positive? I'm asking bc it has been said that after a certain amount of time, if the individual is taking their meds, that the virus can become undetectable.
Yes bc it’s not testing for the virus but rather the antibodies for it. You can Almost completely get rid of the virus but the antibodies will always be in your blood
This is an antibody test, even if your viral load is undetectable, the test will be positive because you'll always have antibodies for HIV once you get infected even if you're taking medication
Nothing it is a virus you have to go to a Dr and take medicine every day and it is not treatable and if your in India or Europe or Brazil you can have free HIV treatment

I followed this videos instructions because it was on the site so I only swabbed from far bottom left on to far right and same with the top but when I look at demonstrations on RU-vid people are swabbing their entire gums from sides to front is my test still valid?
First time I tried to pop the top off I spilled the test contents. I recommend just pulling it off however is most comfortable because its nerve wracking.
