A Story Book'esque Early Morning Walk in a Cotswold Village

So, today we are out and about in the Cotswold village of Icomb which is located near Stow-on-the-Wold in the county of Gloucestershire in the UK. In 2011 the village had a population of just over 200. The village is mentioned in the Domesday Book under the name lacumbe.
The village has its own parish church which is The Church of St Mary. It dates back to the twelfth century and has a Grade I listing status. At the time of filming, the church was undergoing restoration work, hence why inside the churchyard was not filmed.
There are no hidden OAAW logos in this video.

Video #70. And still a new village, will wonders never cease. Yep, me thinks Spring be best, the villages become gorgeous fantasy worlds. 🤔 so that's what untrimmed bushes look like, the fuzz on a young man's jaw. I'm getting itchy to plant ivy to "hide" me own house. I've an 80' long front porch, can you imagine wisteria draping over the eaves like a waterfall curtain? I'm real quirky concerning flowers, I never cut nor vase them, not even buy them already cut. I feel I'm killing something fragile and infinitely beautiful that Earth painstakingly raised. For funerals I give living plants that griever can take home and watch grow. By the way, me front porch has 2 benches, 2 rockers, 2 bikes, 2 matching belly pots filled with gravel that house 1 rabbit statue, the other a fox. There's a small black bear aside the yard wooden swing contraption. But alas, no overgrowth charm, shame that. Say, was that a tiny white iron poopy pooping I saw? I did admire, ahem, the barns. I like those folks just cuz they set an antique plow atop their fence. Never a dull moment walking withya Sir🕶️. Such delightful FUN.

Good day, Jaclyn. #70, it's just a matter of time before you see what is occurring at the top of the shop. Yep, Spring is always a warmly welcomed season, especially after a long cold bleak winter. It would appear that some folk like a perfectly manicured bush but some are maybe not so bothered 🤔. WOW, that is one heck of a porch, and yes I can definitely imagine wisteria draping over the eaves. It also sounds lovely with the benches etc...bikes? as in motorcycles? Harley's maybe??. It is funny but that is just how I imagine your porch to be / look like, very traditional & relaxing, can you see the sunset from the front of the property? The antique plough was a nice addition. BTW, do you recall which was your very first walk with me? We have done so many already. 🙂. Ps. I'm not sure what a "white iron" is 🤔. Enjoy your Friday, Jaclyn and thanks for walking with me today. Ok, to answer your inquisitives: Nope, 2 pedal-ers 🚲 (came in handy after horrific storms that closed roads with downed trees, just hoisted them over and kept going), however, me hubby's old Harley 🏍️ be in back toolshop (and they both still run 😆 and both unhoistable in crisis). Oh yeaaa, she faces west, the porch 🌄. Now me kitchen window what with me grandmum's ceramic roosters faces liken hers eastward🌅, so the cockadoodledoos occur in morn. "White iron"? Please! You know, iron painted white (I'm still giggling). Have a look-see on your video, you'll spy him sqatting. Lastly, maybe, 🤔 I watched 2-3 noncitys before started commenting (fixed that later). Just me way, dip me toes in water vs fall in love at first sight and all that rubbish. And being sequential, me first was probably Castle Combe #1. We done yet?
