A straight forward discussion with the National Coloured Congress leader, Fadiel Adams. 

I was born in District 6 from a Coloured/Khoisan mother and Black father, grew up in a black area called Gugulethu and attended a Coloured school called Heideveld High. Fadiel is speaking truth. The Coloured people have been targetted and ignored by this inept and useless government for long. They are taunting a revolution that will set the entire country aflame. Already the calls for an independent Cape are growing stronger. The Coloured need to be reclassified as Khoi and government best fix this massive betrayal of a people whose children like Ashley Kriel, Anton Fransch and Neville Alexander fought the apartheid police whilst some who are commenting below were hiding in the homelands. This issue will not go away. It needs to be dealt with.

The discussion is about coloured people. We hear black people problems every single day on the news, we feel empathetic, we cry for you and support you, we congratulate you even show appreciation to your culture. We are black people as well but with a different culture and history. Now lets navigate to the issue. Our coloured people in our community are suffering, we see it every day, we are trying but cannot get out. We have intellects living in slums transitioning to gangsterism to survive. Im sure you see it in your community but now imagine that your people are a minority. We as coloured people can blame ourselves, thats for us to discuss amongst ourselves... but in general we can see that our people are suffering man.

The ANC needs to let the Coloureds govern the Western Cape through GOOD, PA and NCC. In the long term the demographics are not on their side, meaning their position will only erode as time goes on, so give them the next 30 years to entrench themselves before the inevitable finally happens. The ANC must field more Coloured leaders itself in the Cape and go into a coalition with the aforementioned parties as a junior partner. I may not agree with Fadiel when it comes the race issue and the ideas he espouses around it, but as always I'm willing to turn the other cheek when it comes to the Coloureds and I also understand the rights and need for local/regional people to govern themselves, this is not true in the Cape but everywhere, whether you are in Gauteng, Limpopo or Mpumalanga, the locals should be the ones who drive the agenda of their municipalities and provinces. This doesn't mean South Africans from other provinces should not be employed in those localities, it just means the power center should always be in the hands of the locals. Give them the Cape!

Fadiel has a point, im second generation joburg both my parents were born here and active in the struggle, Gauteng also experience alot of migration i think the issues needs to be resolved in such all provinces needs to step up but the connotations of using black vs Coloured or Xhosa vs Coloured is the wrong approach its the very strategy used by our colonizers. I think discussion is important but it shouldn't seek to solve the problem by dividing people.

Eastern cape people need to ask their Government why has there been no commercial development, no industrial development, nothing, why is EC still so rural

How does the DA rule Western Cape when the black vote makes 80% of the province ans white is only 20%?? I wish black(Coloured, African) people in Western Cape can show a willlingness to lead that province

35:20 shows the misinformation that they just follow with zero research or information. Those nice places are fully private. Ask them there their kids go to school they will say a private school, ask them who protect them they will say a private security company. Ask them where they get their lights, they will say solar. Ask them about the roads and park they use, they will say they are private areas in complex's. The government does nothing for them yet they pay the most tax. If you read the WC budget 70% goes to poor people. but you dont want to read that or understand that you just want to spread misinformation. instead of talking about the limited funding which is a problem you want to spread misinformation.
