I love the little tune on the keyboard they play when Susan & her boyfriend are talking. They made some great films back in the 70s. It was an awesome time.

I just loved this movie, even though older style, the message of Jesus in NEVER old, it’s as new today as it was then and visa versa! Praise God for that boy’s faith and SO happy for a happy ending with that bear (Luke) had me on edge of seat! Praise Jesus!! Old fashioned is fine for me, as long as it has Jesus in it.✝️🕊🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻♥️

Such a simpler time back then. The world was safer. People invited strangers into their homes, people were more friendly and hospitable back then.....

This is a beautifully told story so holism and the way to live.

Much of this film was shot in the town of Murfreesboro, Tennessee. It's pretty neat to see the city from the fall of 1975.

Jesus is Lord God Almighty clothed in unsinful humanity and He is the author of eternal life to all who trust Him alone for salvation. Saving repentance is realizing that you are a sinner deserving of God's just punishment in Hell and turn ( repent ) from whatever you trusted in before, if indeed you trusted in anything; to trusting in the person and finished work of Christ alone for salvation.

Susan Backlinie (the pretty blond in this movie) just passed at the age of 77 on 11 May 2024. I pray that she truly surrendered her life to my Lord Jesus Christ before she passed from this earth. Our lives are so short and we often think that we have all the time in the world to turn to God. Today if you hear His voice don't harden your heart. While you still draw a breath you have time to turn to Him.
