Bob looks so similar to my boy Naak (copper colour in Thai). He comforted me through a very painful illness sensing my troubles. I can't bare to think of losing him.

I like it when bob the orange cat responded when his master said high five & the cat adorably held up it's little paw it was really trying it's best to help his friend to make a living on the streets. I hope bob is very happy now in heaven in as much as he left his master living in good conditions. 🌞 🌺 😺 🐼

I watched a movie about this, it was so sad and beautiful. He lost Bob and almost went back to addiction but refound him. Story is really heartwarming.
I have a cat on my truck named Brisket...picked her up as a stray kitten...my best friend.. When she was little she jumped out of my truck and I was bawling my eyes out cause I thought I lost her. I had already moved down the road to a truckstops before realizing she wasn't there. Called the last place I stopped at and she was waiting at the guard shack... I was out of legal hours to drive so I had to wait ten hours before I could even pick her up. An employee who lived three miles away from my truck stop brought her back to me...she was riding on his shoulder the whole time. He said he couldn't take her home because his wife was from rural china and she would have cooked the cat 😆 Brisket is delicious in many ways. Maybe I saved her from a life as a stray or maybe she saved me from my solitude on the road...we are both strays in a sense.
Cat looked so cranky but still conscious of the days work ahead and what he needed to do 😢 so cute. He probably understands what money is and how it helps them both that's sooooo cuteeee
James always mentioned that Bob was not an ordinary cat. He was so inteligent that he understand what's happening around him. He also understand when James talked to him.
@@starrmathias9507 oh yes so true. My ginger boy is 9 and I’ve had him since he was a few months old. The cat is like a literal child of mine. With his Intelligence and social skills he is such a part of the family. Whatever room the family is in he will be there. He’s amazing with my 6 yr old twin boys , he’s been literally guarding them and watching over them since birth. ❤️❤️❤️🐈

And my dad said he already rich when he was in movie.. When i ask my dad about this cat, he said Bob has passed away already bcs i don't believe that he was already passed away when they said based on true story and the word "in loving memory of Bob"😭😭😭
Read the book about Bob years ago during my high school days, such a charming book about a man and a really smart cat making his life better. Saddens me to know Bob's passed away now, he lived a wonderful life with a wonderful owner.
I saw this movie when I was years into a heroin addiction. It played a part in helping me get sober. I think about this guy and Bob sometimes and wonder how they're doing. Was so excited to see this! Love you guys!

My dog has done the same for me. He's saved my life for sure. More than once. I was really in the depths when he came into my life and I had to pull myself together for his sake. He got me through my some horrendous times in 2020 too. Total unconditional love is something they give that no other animal I know does. Not in my experience at least.
My cat literally got me through my fall to rock bottom from 18 years of pills,meth and coke addiction. I decided enough was enough prayed for God to either take me out of the world or give me the strength to prevail. I would wake up in the morning and my cat would be sleeping on my chest with her chin resting on my upper chest neck area. Soon as i woke she would pur and rub her face on my chin and get me smiling until i got up get her a treat and go for a walk. She would walk every day for 2 miles with me sun,rain,snow didn't matter. If she was getting dirty or muddy I'd bend down she jumped up on my shoulders and lay across both shoulders with legs hanging down around both sides of my neck was way too cute and lovable. I say she was sent here to save me no doubt in my mind
For those who don't know the story, James Bowen the man in the video was a homeless street musician and recovering drug addict. And one day a stray cat came into his life and helped change. All detailed in a movie from 2016 "A street cat named Bob". Sadly in 2020 Bob passed away at the age of 14
For the people asking: The man (James) and the cat (Bob) in the video are the real ones; The human meet the cat abandoned and injured in 2007 while he was battling a drug addiction, so he took care of him. He wrote a biography "A Street Cat Named Bob" in 2012, and was adapted into a film in 2016. The cat died at 14 in 2020 from a car accident after being missed for two days.
At least it had a happy life towards the end, and hopefully a quick death. I wish i could say the same about my cat. He went out one day and ended up drowning after breaking through the ice on a neighbors pool. He deserved a better end.

Bob was left alone and he tried to follow them but he got lost. Then he met this dude and he was homeless to and theve been together ever since. James saved and took care of Bob first, and then Bob brought a new and much better life to James. And then they became inseparable and lived happily together. I came across a copy of 'A Street Cat Named Bob'' recently and loved it, the bond between James and Bob was amazing, I believe they were fated to meet and they made each other's life complete offering mutual love and respect.
