A Stroll Around Delamere Forest With A Geocache
Not too far from our caravan storage site, and only 25 minutes from our house, is Delamere Forest in Cheshire. A lovely place for a walk with plenty to see and do. Whether its peace and quiet or something a bit more fast paced. Also in the forest are a handful of Geocache's. Once of these I couldn't find, but managed to find one after a wild goose chase! The GPS gets very muddled in the forest due to the thick tree cover.

I wouldn't bother Mark, they don't allow BBQ's 😂 Only kidding. Access on the main gravel path is not bad mobility wise, but venture off the path, and theres some really nice quieter parts. If somewhat a bit nettly and boggy to get to. Thanks for watching 👍

Cheers Paul. I get so sidetracked when I just go for a wander, end up stopping every few minutes to just listen to the forest soundtrack 😀 What started off as a ten minute stroll after the rain, turned into a 2hr afternoon out. Thanks for watching mate. 👍

Nice place Delamere forest. we picked up some caches at the weekend. One was a tiny tiny tiny, hardly big enough to hold the rolled up log.

It's great isn't it Dave. Those miniscule nano caches aren't my cup of tea really. Like you say, the logs are like a tiny toilet roll! It's the first one I've looked for in months, but after the rain, just fancied a wander around the dewy trees. First one was a none starter - "hole in tree" - it's a forest 🤔, but after the GPS calmed down under the tree cover, the second one was a pretty easy find. One of those mini wine bottle shaped micro's. Cheers for watching pal 👍
