@@himynameisjohnwumsh7631 I was born again 20 days after my birth in the water of Holy Baptism when the Holy Spirit entered my life and I became a child of God. “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” (Matt. 28:19). Jesus doesn't say only adults or even 'age of accountability' -- he says "all nations". “He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that, having been justified by His grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life. This is a trustworthy saying.” (Titus 3:5-8). “We were therefore buried with Him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.” (Rom. 6:4)
@@himynameisjohnwumsh7631 I'm back .... can't help thinking about why you would not want God's gift of life early in your life but wait until you were 54 to become a child of God and a recipient of his grace. Jesus asked children to come to him.
I am proud of my Norwegian Lutheran heritage. The Swiss 1/2 keeps me very humble though. And the Welsh/ Wesleyan 1/4, well….Charles Wesley wrote some great hymns.
