Downloaded on your say so. Realize FB was just shone unworthy. Love your channel. I know I 'm probably not on your radar, though I had a friggin' great community night, lol. Please do not betray my trust. I haven't many more options out. I just spent one on you.
Hemp is such a useful plant. It's fibres can be used to make rope and clothing. The oil makes a nice hand lotion. Now the prejudices against it have to be stopped.
Yes, agreed. Hemp is a wonderful plant from safe non-toxic medicinal uses, to fabric, to building materials - all safe for our planet! I just pray that enough people in our world will stand up for using what is a safe - non-toxic way of life. We ALL need to stand up against big corporations that are all about money instead of the safety of our people and our planet.
Kiara Williams - derp 🤓 its the THC that makes you high. It also is a great pain reliever when used by responsible people. CBD is also great for - mix both THC and CBD it can be a bonus. Look for a good site on Hemp and all the other properties to the marijuana plant. It pretty interesting.
Very nice. Just a little translation for the non-Australian people, Gumtree is Australia's version of Craigslist, but when he mentioned the stairs came from *a* gumtree, he meant that it was an actual eucalyptus "gumtree" tree. :)
Bickety Bam Oh,I knew what he meant-funny it needs translation for people. I am from the American Midwest, and we do have a type of native tree called a gumtree here-it is a sweet gumtrees and come autumn they drop little things all over the sidewalk and lawns that need be raked up. This may be a different variety we have here.
Now this is weird....I know you from SkyeStorm's videos.....the people you meet!. I'm also Australian and didn't even think about the confusion that might be for those that don't know gumtree the sale site as opposed to the tree...lol
i love how in the whole video the owner really explain about the house materials, which is environmental friendly. i just know there is this hempcrete material. thanks for sharing this.
:14:00 ~ "Hemp is a powerful plant that for too much of our history has been powerfully misunderstood. In this home, its properties make it a perfect building material that's not only very practical, but also capable of constructing a beautiful home. There is no doubt in my mind that hemp is going to be a major player in the future of construction." And it is very safe, too! I enjoyed watching and learning. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!
What a amazing beautifully eco friendly home 🏡 I definitely want my home build with this material , their design plan is gorgeous it seems very homey god bless them
Love the warmth and spaciousness of its open-look design. This is the first hemp construction I've seen, which was fascinating. I did visit a straw bale construction a few years back, which shares similar aspects such as the incredible insulation properties for both staying warm & keeping cool. It was also rendered in lime as a tactic for moisture control, as this is an issue with such builds.
You've excelled yourself Bryce. This is a wonderful home full of character and charm. Who knew that tiny homes can look so large and spacious. Well done Michael & Tiffany. Thanks all of you for letting us see this beautiful home. Thanks😊👍.
I know hempcrete was the main focus of the piece but it would have been great to also get some detail about the property’s other features: the big water collection tank, the outdoor bath tub, etc. Overall, a great video featuring a home with a very special feel.
Your tiny home channel is my favorite by far. Your enthusiasm and interview skills are so impressive! I’m a 6,000 sq ft home owner, but I love watching how people use their space so well!
I have been fascinated with hemp for years now and this video opened yet another hemp marvelous property for me. The house is stunning and it is a joy to listen to this owner as he knows what he is talking about and is obviously so passionate about his work. Thank you for sharing.
wow! when people put in so much thought into nature and our Earth and live comfortably with their families, what a great sense of serene, passion and love gets filled in our hearts:) God bless this family for putting in lot of thought...thanks Bryce for bringing such ideas to us through your videos...sharing and creating awareness will go a long way to protecting our Mother Earth... every drop counts!:) Bless your souls:)
Thank you Bryce and Team for sharing this wonderful interview on Hemp-crete. I really enjoyed listening to how this couple wanted a home with a difference, reducing their carbon footprint by using natural materials rather than using damaging ones. Its good to finally see a house that has been made with Hemp-crete. I really hope to see more homes built with natural fibers like this rather than what people have been using. The one thing this house was missing was a vegetable garden, such a lovely view and wide space a little garden would be perfect.
By far this is the most beautiful tiny house video I have ever seen. The connection between the Earth, people and the family that live there is amazing. I would love a home exactly like this - completely toxic fee & connected to the love/contributions of those whom helped build this amazing house.
This house is now officially my dream 🏡. I live in the same climate ( island) and it’s just perfect. Thank you for posting this. And the builders are lovely 🕊
Too beautiful for words! The children rendering their own bedroom walls, the community pitching in, the personal symbology of the ceiling trusses, the organic growth of the house, all go towards making this a soulful, gorgeous home. From the moment we viewed the exterior wall panels, to the moment we walked inside, I knew this was going to be special.
So encouraging and wonderful to see more people using hempcrete! I'm with you Bryce. I fully expect to see more of this in our future. Hopefully in our near future. :)
I like the fact that this was supposed to be a temporary home, but they still put e v e r y t h i n g in it. Beautiful, natural project and very inspiring for ppl who want to live more on the natural side!
I don’t think there’s ever been an episode I haven’t absolutely loved. Such a gorgeous property, truly breathtaking. And they’ve designed a gorgeous home.
Beautiful! The varied and numerous uses for hemp continues to astound me. The fact that you don’t have to be concerned about anything toxic in your home affecting your health is priceless. To the young Mom of this family, I am so sorry for the passing of your Dad. We are each our brothers and sisters keeper so I send all love and light to you and all those who loved your Father. 🙏🏻💗🕊🕊
Fabulous home! HEMPCRETE is the most effective and safest insulation! We need more home builders that are this knowledgeable and conscientious about human health and the environment. I want to live in a home just like this one! BRAVO!!!
What a beautiful way to honor your father by allowing him to live on in you and your family in a healthy home. I have taken care of folks with mesothelioma as a nurse and know how difficult it i to watch your loved one struggle to live with it. Sorry for your loss.
Fascinating! This home is beautiful and the story behind the build is so compelling. I love how this designer/home owner care and has been so thoughtful in creating this structure for his family. If only we could all be so conscientious about how we choose to build, raise our families, live out our lives and impact the world around that we inhabit. Thank you for sharing this wonderful video.
That is one gorgeous house built by equally gorgeous human beings. So inspiring! Thank you Bryce and company for sharing such wonderful stories. Getting to know the stories behind the built is what keeps us coming back for more, I believe.
I agree. Earth building is really fascinating. I’d like to know more about what climates are best for each material. Ah, guess I gotta get busy researching that!
Hemp is such an amazing plant! It is really kind of them to not only think of themselves working with a sustainable, non-toxic material. But they also cared about the workers too.
I feel such a deep sense of calm every time I watch one of your episodes. I think it's that special feeling as if we're connecting with Mother Earth that makes this show so experiential : )
Great to see the positive impact and uses of hemp for building. Education and learning by doing is key. Beautiful build guys thanks for sharing the time capsule. One for all generations
Absolutely beautiful home'stead' Bryce. Hemp - the most maligned plant ever - is finally being recognized for all it's GREAT qualities. Thanks for another awesome video Bryce - take care my friend. ;)
Thank you, Bryce (and all who make this channel possible!), for your excellent videos! The quality in production, subject matter, and detail are top-notch. I'm so glad I discovered your channel and the Tiny House Movement. Keep up the great work!! CHEERS!!! 😃
This was absolutely beautiful, the passion that went into the building. The interior and exterior structure is amazing. My first time hearing of Hemp plant/ building material, thank you for the great video.👍
Love this house Bryce, especially how the boys helped, healthy material for them to be around in building process ,but also that they live in , with no toxic chemicals of any kind, absolutely beautiful country ! Thanks again for these weekly videos
The house look simple outside but when come in....wow! It really perfect and complete for a family to live there. The beds, the kitchen, the bathroom and the most important (for me)is the view. Amazing. Thank you Byrce & Rasa for the incredible video.
Wow 😲 what an amazing home! Gorgeous & healthy too! After living in this home, who would want to live anywhere else! I absolutely love this home! This is truly a family home & I think it’s wonderful that so many people were involved in its construction, a truly incredible community project! Congratulations to a lovely family!👍🏻
I love the simplicity of this home and the look of the interior and exterior walls. I didn’t see any solar but I did see the water collection system. Wish you would have talked about them.
Hope you do realize what this architect also told. He spend 150 thousand Australian dollar for constructing this building, while using mostly free labor, recycled materials and scavenged wood. If that is true, this home is VERY expensive. I assume he doesn't put his own hours into the price so there is something very odd. With normal non toxic building material (asbestos is as far as i know banned from usage worldwide for decades) and using the same money investment without reclaimed stuff you can put up a decent, well insulated home with this floor plan for even less. All in all it seem quite extravagant if you use this amount of money on a home filled with second hand stuff or even freely acquired items. So either he isn't telling the whole story or something is missing out of the equation.
I couldn't get over the size of this, it's huge! The openness inside adds to that large expansive feeling. All the natural woods goes so beautifully with the hemp building materials. The kids may want more privacy when they're older, but l like that they can access the bathroom easily during the night, which is a lovely room in itself. Neat spiral staircase up to a gorgeous loft. What a stunning design & beautiful family!👍🏻😄🐾🌈☮️🇨🇦
I’ve been watching your videos for a long time. But learning that hemp can and is being used as a non-toxic building material just blew my mind. It makes me want to go out and build my own hemp and wood home. Beautiful!
I remember seeing some vids on hempcrete years ago. I believe it was pioneered by a French woman if I remember correctly. I always thought that if I got the chance to build my own home I would opt for hempcrete.
I love seeing your total enthusiasm Bryce! You are awesome and to share about Hempcrete, I love it! I am a sustainable whole food educator and hemp is beautiful! A huge thank you!
This is uplifting in every way! Awesome house. Awesome process. Awesome people. Beautiful land. Consciousness expanding in every direction. Thank you Bryce for showcasing this information with such class.
Thank you Bryce for taking up this, I love this house and finally people are waking up and realize what an incredible plant this is, after sooo long time of misguided "brainwashing".
Love that roof, great for millions of people who need to avoid the sun to prevent skin cancer. Everyone should watch this video, and it should be translated into every language (both audio and below the date). Really pretty house!!! August 10, 2018
What a beautiful homestead. My father died from mesothelioma. I have really enjoyed seeing all the building possibilities for hemp. I do have one at. When he spoke about humidity transfer would that mean that humidity from the outside could transfer into the home? I’m in Alabama so that would be important to know. Thanks Bryce, nice job.
I love that this is a family of 6 in a fairly small space. I grew up in a large house, a family of 4. The house was very nice... but our favourite place was our small cottage. We spent endless summers up there, and in the 60’s & 70’s, we didn’t have electricity (it was a 3 season Cottage). We never missed tv, electricity or the big house. Life up there was simple and wonderful.
This house is similar to traditional building methods in Mexico. Here is a video you will enjoy. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-TmcEOD3oKW0.html
The house looks cool and cozy inside. It reminded me of my grandfather's house with all the warm timber and furnitures they added into the house. It looks like they have their own vacation home. ❤😍
Gorgeous home, Bryce. Thanks so much for sharing it with us. I love hearing such positive stories about hemp. In America, I can imagine the enormous confusion that many people would have in discovering a lush field of mature hemp plants like those in the video. Hemp looks almost identical to marijuana and, while it is now legal in some areas, that does not mean 'legal without a license'. So, more confusion with hemp, which may be completely legal, yet not well known. Beautiful home, beautiful spaces and family. Thanks again.
You're right. Interestingly enough, there were times in American history where people with land were expected to grow hemp, as it was recognised as such a valuable crop, before it was unfairly demonised by competitive industries such and cotton and timber. Slowly but surely, we are remembering it's properties and the hemp industry is experiencing a resurgence.
Bryce, that's true - I came back to look at this house again after seeing this video today. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-nJvVwXCu2g4.html If the DEA will get out of the way of our farmers and doctors, we may find our way back to traditional uses and develop new ones George Washington could never have imagined when he grew hemp on his plantation.
I might have missed it if you said it but are they off grid? It looks like a rain water collections. I saw the gas stove so I would say they have propane. Just wondering about lights. Great video and I do wish the world would accept and get over the old way of thinking....
This is a fascinating and informative video. Thank you for that. Also a truly beautiful home and view. This family is tremendous encouragement for the future of our planet. Kudos to all!
