Good Evening. That's what i favour , but most people are saying hang on till a good used 14" box comes up. Will have a look at Ebay and Gumtree. Otherwise out come the Tin Snips !!! Thanks for your comment.
Hi, Yes good point, it would be easier to get hold of a Mk7 Box and fit the larger brackets from the 17" Box. I better have a look on Ebay and Gumtree. Thanks for your comment.
If I were you I'd bide my time for a better more suitable box to come up. The amount of work involved in shortening the 17 might not be worth it! Believe me it's crossed my mind in the past to cut a bigger box down to fit then thought nope! How good are your welding skills? There's always the option of cutting out the rot on the 14 and stealing the brackets from the 17 or making a pair out of flat 3mm sheet .
Good evening. Yes it does seemed to be what most people are saying. Be patient and wait for a good used 14" box to come up. Shortening or repairing one of them will involve a lot of work ,one way or the other. Thanks for your comment.
The mower's looking tip top...will it be going up for sale or is it a keeper? Also, is it worth trying to find the correct 14" grass box and keep the other two grass boxes for other projects?
Hi, Thanks. I think is is a keeper and would like to cut some grass with it, and give it an airing next year at some of the shows! You are right , it would be better to wait and find a correct one. Sadly i am a bit impatient, and probably best if i do it now, as it probably will never get finished otherwise. Thanks for your comment.
I would cut the amount off the one side, and refit the end back on, or just make some new brackets for the 14" and fit new bit of metal to replace the rusted bit,
Good evening Mr Duck I didn't think Suffolks would interest you , who knows in another 50 years time people maybe going mad for them! And a gold star for your observations and yes the is a FB Chain Tennis , maybe a video worth doing on that. Thanks for your comment.
