Watch Me Create A Very Quick & Easy Summer Basket for My Front Door!
I am no professional, so this shows a rough and ready version that took a matter of minutes to complete.
Most of the items I had hanging around my house already, but you will need a flat backed basket, a waterproof lining plus an extra fabric lining if you wish to conceal the plastic through the basket weave. A bunch of your favourite blooms, and a way of attaching your basket to your front door - Enjoy!

Wow, so much beautiful lavendar, I know the scent is amazing. You make such wonderful videos. I love this one. The music just went along with it perfectly, so fun! The basket is amazingly beautiful! Absolutely - that's a great idea. I bought the flowers to put in a vase for when friends came for a BBQ, but when I remembered the basket, I thought i'd try something a little different. Thank you so much for watching. x

Beautiful, Paula! I love the basket! And, the flowers of course! Is that Stock in the back? I wasn`t sure, but, if so, the Stock flower is a symbol of happy life and contented existence. Hello Judi - thank you so much! yes, they are stocks and they smell divine! They were really bought to put in a vase outside at a BBQ, but I suddenly thought that the door looked rather bare for when my guests arrived. As Martin says above - next time I shall experiment with oasis as it will last longer. Best wishes, and I'm so happy that you enjoy the music as much as I do. x

It's literally like a vase of flowers - but outdoors, so however long a normal bunch would last! I tend to buy flowers weekly, but I'm sure that if I used the floristry sponge that can soak up water they would last longer. This video was rather impromptu and was really because I had friends coming over later that day for a BBQ, and I used what was available. xxx

I'm a very amateur gardener Barbara, so I'm learning as I go along. I shall definitely try annuals in a basket, and I also want to plant something eye-catching and pretty around my box cones in the back urns. You always have such lovey ideas, so I shall certainly gain some inspiration from you. xx

Thank you Martin - yes you're right - oasis would last much longer! This was really done as a last minute idea to pretty up my front door before guests arrived for a BBQ, but I shall definitely try using oasis next time. Thank you for watching. x
