Absolutely beautiful the churches in the villages are absolutely fantastic but have you seen what’s happening to our churches in London and the suburbs they’re being sold off and converted into mosques and the little graveyards are being destroyed all the old gravestones I’ve been ripped up. It’s sacrilege.
@@walktheworldaway I have a bracket clock a specially made Elliott clock what plays them. They one my favorite clock chimes They a hidden gem here. Guildford holy trinity the original location of them. Stratton in Cornwall are a grand version of them too fantastic ring of bells.
Thanks so much. The Ramblers' Church looks like it is in a bad state of repair - damp and moisture on the walls ? Probably not uncommon in England. Not all the churches get the help they need, I know 🙂 As others have said, there are so many .... Tks.
You are welcome Barbara. To be honest, this was my favourite church. It had such an ancient atmosphere inside and the isolated location added to its mystique. Look out for the drone footage of Walesby next week in the From The Air series on the channel. You get an awesome perspective of the whole area 🕊️
Everything is always prim & proper in these British Walk videos, however I never hear a Lawnmower or see a Weedeater in action. Do they let the Sheep loose on the town every Thursday ?
It is a lovely area. If you liked Walesby you will love Tealby which is only a few kilometres away: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-SmsbTkXMQ3M.htmlsi=5cMnyApqXYzud80a
