Wahabism doesn’t exist. No one has “pictures” of Abdul wahab. No one gives blessings to him. No one mentions him. He’s just a historical figure that called on us to follow the teachings of the prophet and abandon grave visiting and other dubious acts, which is the “salafi” school of Islam. He also kicked out the Ottoman möngol Turks, and they started the “wahabi” derogatory slur. Now Iranians and Shia use it.
@Man_663
@Man_663 10 месяцев назад
@@user-qx9zn2cj4ehe didn’t kick the Turks out, the emirate of diriyah tried to kick the Turks out of the peninsula but they ended up getting their state destroyed by the Egyptians and the ottomans and Abdullah ended up having his head beheaded by the ottomans themselves. Though I don’t deny that the Saudis did definitely play a huge role and kicking out the ottomans out of the peninsula, but the Arab revolt is what completely dismantled their influence in Arabia.

as a saudi i can tell you that fairly a lot of arabs know their way around the desert even if they were completly cut off from the real world ex.(losing connection, car troubles, etc) they used and still use the stars as their guidance famously a star called "as-shi'ra al-yamaniyah" or constellations that would guide them through the vast desert although uncommon trouble might arouse in the desert which is why a lot of councils were made to help find missing persons you can also call them if you havent lost your connection water can be taken out of cactuses and since the human body can survive up to 3 days without food then you will be fine if you find a way out in this span

From the sixteenth to the twentieth centuries most Arabs-all of them, really, except in parts of Arabia and Morocco-belonged to the Ottoman Empire. Even in periods of Ottoman weakness, the local officials and landlords were usually Turks, Circassians, or other non-Arabs. Since World War I, Arab nationalists and their sympathizers have denounced the horrors of Ottoman rule, blaming the Turks for the Arabs' backwardness, political ineptitude, disunity, or whatever else was amiss in their society. What went wrong? Were the Arabs under Ottoman rule better or worse off than they had been earlier? In fact, the Arabs' decline cannot be blamed on Istanbul. You can even argue that early Ottoman rule benefited the Arabs by promoting local security and trade between their merchants and those of Anatolia and the Balkans. If the eighteenth-century Ottoman decline and overly zealous nineteenth-century reforms hurt the Arabs, the Turks within the empire suffered too. If Ottoman rule was so oppressive, why did the Arabs not rebel? Well, at times they did. We have mentioned the Wahhabi revolt in eighteenth century Arabia, but that group wanted to purify Islam, not create an Arab state. Some peasant and military revolts broke out in Egypt, but for economic rather than national reasons. Some historians find an anti-Ottoman angle in the policies of Mehmet 'Ali and Ibrahim. The latter, as governor of Syria, supposedly said, "I am not a Turk. I came to Eg as a child, and since that time, the sun of Egypt has changed my blood and made it all Arab." But Mehmet Ali and his heirs spoke Turkish, thought they belonged to the Ottoman ruling class, and treated Egyptians like servants. 'Urabi's name implied an Arab identity, and he did oppose Turkish and Circassian officers in the Egyptian army, but his revolution was an Egyptian one directed mainly against the Anglo-French Dual Control. Uprisings in Syria were frequent, but their cause was usually religious. Tribes in Iraq and the Hijaz often revolted against Ottoman governors, but over local-not national-grievances. Most historians, therefore, have concluded that Arab identity played no great part in Middle East politics up to the twentieth century. Muslim Arabs feared that any attempt to weaken the Ottoman Empire would hurt Islam. Even under Sultan Abdulhamid, despite his faults, most Arabs went on upholding the status quo. Many served in the army or civil administration. A few were prominent advisers. They might have been proud of belonging to the same "race" as Muhammad, but this did not inspire them to rebel against the Turks, who were Muslims too.

Fake news. Nothing in Arabia belonged to the möngol Ottoman invaders, nor was it 4 centuries long, nor was it direct rule. In Arabia, the Ottoman möngols mostly installed puppet leaders in certain provinces, and got defeated multiple times in a back and forth by Al Saud since the 1700s. Fun facts: Ottoman möngols installed zero roads in Arabia, built zero schools, zero universities, and only pillaged the money (and artefacts) from Mecca and Medina. It was a cancer that was successfully removed in 1900s.

Wahhabis in Central Arabia that ended the first Sa'udi-Wahhabi state in 1818. In his historical recollection of the destruction of Deriyya, the first capital of the Wahhabis, al-Fahd reminds his audience of the atrocities committed against Wahhabi muwahidun (monotheists). In this destruction, al-Fahd argues, the Ottomans sought the help of the Christian infidels, more particularly Napoleon. In their exchanges they discussed the Wahhabi movement and what should be done to eliminate it. According to al-Fahd correspondence between the Ottoman Sultan and Napoleon indicates that the former resorted to help from infi dels against true Muslims, an act that is not permissible and cannot be justi fied. Al-Fahd lists violent acts committed by Ottoman soldiers against Wahhabis whose cars were cut and sent to Istanbul. Soldiers were given special rewards for killing Wahhabis. Women and children were taken as sabaya, women war booty, then sold as slaves. When Wahhabi imams were captured in 1818, they were carried to Istanbul where their heads were cut off and thrown in the sea. Special prayers were held at the time to thank God. This, says al-Fahd, is not a caliphate, it is dawlat al-kufr al-turkiyya, a blasphemous Turkish state. Wahhabis, therefore, did not rebel against an Islamic authority because the Ottoman caliphate was dar al-harb, the land of war, where the rebellion of the Wahhabis was justified. If the caliphate committed atrocities, sought help from infidels, and spread blasphemy, then fighting it was not simply justified but required from the true believer, according to al-Fahd.

Wahhabism is a conservative version of Islam but conservative in monotheism. It is not conservative in covering women, gender segregation, and not driving women as the West believes. Wahhabism relies primarily on what it believes in, which is that there is no god but Allah and that there is no sanctification of graves or idols as there is in the Christian religion. But there is a movement that occurred in the sixties or seventies. It is an emigration from the persecution of the Egyptian and Syrian socialist regimes, which turned Saudi Arabia upside down. It is a movement that pursues politics in the name of Islam, from which terrorism emerged. This group of people has obtained high positions in Saudi Arabia, where they infiltrate universities, schools, and even mosques to brainwash people in order to achieve their political goals. Among them, terrorist ideology spread, and the rights of women were destroyed. Saudi Arabia was targeted to submit to their rule. But their cover was revealed in 2015, and many of them were imprisoned and expelled from Saudi Arabia. Life in Saudi Arabia was normal, and it was going through a period of economic and industrial prosperity during the seventies AD. There were movie theaters, stores did not close during prayer time, and the mixing of men and women in public places was a common thing. Concerts were also held before everything changed with the arrival of "Awakening"( this is what they call themself) in government institutions in the Kingdom. Juhayman, the person who occupied the Grand Mosque in Mecca, Osama bin Laden, and the 9/11 incident are all part of the work of the Egyptian socialist regime. I hope you talk about this topic more

This video implies the Saudis were involved in the Arab revolt but they weren’t, the sharif Hussein in hejaz was the one involved and aided by the British and a few years after he succeeded ibn saud entered hejaz due to a different conflict which resulted in Hejaz and Mecca returning to al sauds control. Ibn Saud defeated the sharifs in hejaz even when the British aided the sharifs thus proving the British didn’t want ibn Saud and he indirectly defeated them contrary to popular belief the British never aided saudi before its formation and in fact were defeated by the Saudis

Saudi arabia is a Semitic giant land It’s regions are exactly like the united states, each state is a different environment, different culture and people, different accents. But in the end they are still American It just happened that King AbdulAziz after he conquered his enemies he united the regions Desert dwellers were so racist to other people, it took them too long to realize Saudi people are African, Jordanian, Syrian, and Yemeni

1- From the land of SAUDI ARABIA came the Prophet Muhammad, who changed history and whose teachings are followed today by two Billion Muslims. 2- From the land of SAUDI ARABIA came brave warriors who defeated the two most powerful empires on the planet at the same time, destroyed the Byzantine Romans, and wiped the Sassanid Persians off the map forever, which made military experts describe it as one of the greatest military victories in history. 3- From the land of SAUDI ARABIA came the undefeated general, Khalid ibn al-Walid, who surpassed great leaders such as Genghis Khan and Alexander the Great. 4- From the land of SAUDI ARABIA came Muawiyah bin Abi Sufyan, the founder of the Umayyad empire, one of the largest empires in history, and the largest Islamic empire. 5- The land of SAUDI ARABIA is one of a few lands in history that has never completely colonized. 6- The land of SAUDI ARABIA is what made 450 million tongues speak its Arabic language. 7- In the land of SAUDI ARABIA, there are the two holiest sites for 25% of the world's population, The Two Holy Mosques. 🇸🇦😉
