Seeing Luca standing on the cliff overlooking the area where you camped while he flew the drone was a beautiful picture and reminded me of the words from the Walt Disney movie Cinderella: A dream is a wish your heart makes When you're fast asleep In dreams you will lose your heartaches Whatever you wish for you keep Have faith in your dreams and someday Your rainbow will come smiling through No matter how your heart is grieving If you keep on believing The dream that you wish will come true. Lovely video 🤩Lagos is beautiful Carvoeiro is the cutest village with small beaches and they always have live music entertainment for families at night in the main beach🍨 🎇 Portugal suits you guys , Italy is beautiful but Portugal is more free and laidback, perfect to raise children! It’s a diferente vibe ! Everyone speaks English and Sara you will learn the language quick it’s easier when you have italian as first language 👍

You made a good call on not going down the rutted road, it looks like it is a waterfall if it rains, and the beach below had some high water marks from the seaweed that might surprise someone parked down there, plus deep sand. Some of that is ok with high clearance, 4 wheel drive, but that looks like a deserted place to get stuck. I would have parked up there and enjoyed the walk down to the beach too! Your daughter's laugh is a joy to behold!

Your little Luce has got to be the most beautiful, sweet, happy child I have ever seen. I’m sure she has her moments that you don’t share but what I see - I love! She is also so very smart. Luces laugh is something else, she laughs from her little belly I just love it! I love Portugal, a few years back we were in Funchell (not sure of spelling) and we took a bobsled ,with two men in back holding on to the sled and took us down the widening streets. It was so scary but fun!!

Good afternoon! I cannot believe how quickly Luce changes from week to week. The baby card game is hilarious & so clever . (It just occurred to me I wonder how many total miles /km you guys have travelled in your life together all over the world? Did you ever keep track of that?) The scenery is truly beautiful. The spot where you spent the night was such an interesting topography. The colour of the sea is so gorgeous. There are so many different colours on the edge. The streets are so narrow. I guessed the visitor in Lisbon was going to be your dad. He's a very good & generous man! It's great you have a break and the little more room to relax with your sweet father. Could she be a merrier happier child? I don't think so! Good job! Thanks so much!

Next video, in addition to showing us where you're exploring in Lisbon, please share the backstory of Luca's early years in Portugal. Is he actually a Portuguese who moved to Italy? Or was his family there for work? You may have told the backstory in early videos but I am still (somewhat) new to the channel.

Luca is Italian. During his youth, he and his parents also lived in Spain and Brazil.

Having Luce’s laughter while I am eating my dinner in NYC is the best soundtrack. Seeing Nonno Claudio join you all I am sure is a treat as you Luca relive your early life. I was in Lisboa in 2014 and I recall that the Christ the Redeemer statue was placed in Almada overlooking Lisboa after the Patriarch of Lisboa saw it in Rio in Rio de Janiero in 1934. It was erected in Portugal 1959 as gratitude for Portugal being spared the direct destruction of WW II. I look forward to next Sunday’s video of Lisboa a very special city. Buona Domenica.

Loved Luce’s attempt to learn how to zip up her coat. She’s keen to learn fast. We managed to stay over at the Cabo lighthouse for the night after a glorious sunset when hundreds of locals came to watch it. Oct ‘19. Good to see somewhere I’ve been!

I’m from the San Francisco Bay Area. Just as I was thinking to myself that the bridge into Portugal looks so much like the Golden Gate Bridge, Luca said it. The streets look similar to SF as well. Then when the “cable car” came onto the street in front of you, that really made me think of SF. I’m so glad Daddy Claudio is there to share this visit with all of you! As always, Luce is the star of the show. What a little love she is!

Lisbon absolutely reminded me of SF when I was there! The bridge (The Golden Gate and the 25 de Abril bridges were built by the same company, hence the similarities), the steep hills, the cable cars, the weather, the street art...so beautiful! Another similarity is that both cities were greatly damaged by earthquakes at some point!
