At the time of recording, 108 is the new Record (random seed) for most Jokers held (for multiple rounds, barring Ectoplasm shenanigans which only let you survive for one Round). I've heard rumors of a higher score, but the keepers of the official record books tell me the person has not provided the seed nor (sufficiently long) video evidence nor responded to DMs. You can follow the story for further developments by joining the BalatroU Discord (by either Twitch subscription or Ko-Fi contribution). So why did we get rid of hallucination for ice cream when ice cream made it so that you couldn’t play multiple hands? Didn’t seem like scoring was a big problem before
Holding onto Hex blocks Sixth Sense from spawning another one. We prioritize getting Ankh + Cryptid as early as possible (over maximizing the early game Perkeo value).
I still feel like ghost deck is better for these runs. The lesser survivability is made up for in getting the technology online so much earlier that you get more ankhs than you’d lose for not being as late into the antes
Showman would be one of the 150 so all dupes are on the table. If you sell Showman, then I guess technically every joker would be Showman until you took one? I'm not actually sure. The default fallback joker is Jimbo, but because Showman exists, I don't think you could ever have a scenario where every joker is Jimbo.
@@PatPharmD maybe if you have everything but showman and reroll the shop, you shouldn't be getting 2 showmen. 1 showman and everything else should be Jimbo
By having jokers, you stop these jokers from coming up in a shop. I *think* if you block a joker, the replacement joker you get instead in the shop is of the same rarity. Thats especially good for rares, as there are many useful ones.
A) finding eternal jokers at all would require playing on black stake or higher which has other consequences B) anhk (and invisible joker for that matter) ignore negative as a property when making copies of jokers.
I don't understand, is it really just me who can't focus on the video because of the hand moving at the bottom right of the screen? It makes these videos unwatchable for me. I don't know
Polychrome only applies when cards are played, not "held in hand." The Mime will retrigger the Steel and Baron effects but does not interact with Polychrome at all.
