I'm pro NATO in Sweden but i understand some people's anger at how we joined NATO because in every step that we have left our Non Alignment the Social Democrats which is is the largest Party in Sweden has denied that there has really been any change. So when Swedish politicians mention that there has been a 30 year process that will rub a lot of people the wrong way. Entry into NATO was however clear cut as almost all parties voted for Swedish entry, except the (ex-)communists and (wannabee- commies)Greens.
