@@cawewe and Gina... I had experienced years worth of synchronized swimming in my past. For someone that was a competitive swimmer and track (along with other sports)... synchronized swimming is very VERY taxing on the whole body. To be co-ordinated, the counting happens when the head goes under the water. everything is on a count. a heartbeat. .and the perfect partner that gets you. that is VERY IMPORTANT! I watch professional Ballet and I actually CRINGE! they are NEVER perfectly in time, yet we have talent like THIS! IN A MEDIUM (H20)that has so much more density and resistance than air, the different force and energy needed to make the moves required so much more training. people just dont understand that.

@@lorrainecc99 I understand that. the counting, the gracefulness, etc. I was just getting at the fact it's quite deceptively an athletically demanding sport on the individual. Having to hold your breath for a long time while putting serious demands on your muscles, ... you wind up getting GREAT LUNGS! haha

I’ve been in a 12 ft pool it’s pretty scary at first but I got used to it

I swim in a 11 foot deep pool and it’s fine

I’m not a synchronized swimmer but I am a competitive one. We swim in 13 feet pools and you get used to it :)

Actualy, there's an underwater speaker at the botom of the pool, so they can hear the song, but they also count.
