Because a non-white was elected, America was no longer a racist country, it was now post-racial, being promoted all over the media. Candace is also quite ignorant of history. She sounded like a fool a few years ago trying to explain Hitler, and those "White Lives Matter" tee shirts were just unforgiveable. I think they both went into their situations thinking that they would be accepted and both had to learn some hard lessons. Both thought that if they went in and played the game, they would be embraced, but they both found out they were dealing with people who were never going to accept them even if they played the game perfectly. It's sad. They both went into situations that they were never going to be able to win and were badly humiliated, but because they were optimistic and had a misunderstanding of racism.

Meghan doesn’t bother anybody. She was just fortunate enough to win Prince Harry’s heart. I don’t hate or envy her for that, because I couldn’t. I hate she has to witness such foolishness from the royal family. She has added beauty in the family... her and Kate. Princess Diana before she died was the prettiest member in the family. She had panache, beauty, eduation, poise, energy, she was an American with an American work-ethic, she was at ease with public speaking, she had media savvy, she was mixed-race, she had an independent spirit, and she was just far more interesting and different from the Royal women, at least the press thought so, initially. That was the rule she broke. She was someone new and exciting with Black ancestry, very photogenic, and she outshone the Queen-to-be, Kate, running rings around her...and Kate was becoming jealous. That was her greatest offense, and that was also Diana's offense. She, too, outshone the Royal women, she had fashion sense that was much better than theirs, she was more attractive, she had a mind of her own and an independent spirit, and the public loved her. Princess Margaret, Elizabeth's sister who was alive at the time, couldn't stand Diana. Finally, after being so mistreated by Charles, she found love with an Egyptian man...and died in a tragic auto accident. Harry always feared that his own wife would end up dying in some tragic accident like his mother, and that was one reason he took his family out of that messy situation, especially after the death threats and tabloid insults started to be published which blamed and accused Meghan for every wrongdoing and compared her unfavorably to Kate, who's reputed to be somewhat of a "mean girl".

I agree, i believe Meghan went into that family with rose colored glasses, it's not certain if Harry warned her or not, but i do think she was very happy at first and thought she would be a welcome new addition to the family. I also believed that when Mwghan started getting negative media attention the Queen could have openly defended her, she could have spoken up for her and let the family and the media know that mistreating Meghan was unacceptable, but she did not. I know many people saw the queen as a harmless old lady, but i think she was not very caring or fair with Meghan and could have been instrumental in pressing for her acceptance. Even Diana said that she went to the queen for help when she was having trouble with Charles, and the queen did not help. The queen seemed like she may have been cold and unemotional.
Your video gave much to ponder; much to consider. However, I found two critical points: both woman’s need to be accepted by the dominant society made them willfully blind and compliant with wt supremacy. As long as they felt special and different from Foundational Blk Women, they were okay with the status quo. Had the diaspora not been as accepting or forgiving, both women would have suffered a harsher burn.

The British are even more upset because Harry left with Meghan & his son. If Harry had not left, they would have written Meghan & Archie out of their history. But Harry protected them. Harry could have married a Stepford British wife but he knew Meghan possessed everything he wanted in a wife. He is his mother’s son. Diana died in a car wreck along with a man who wasn’t White. Black American biracials are Black, especially if they have a Black mother. 1. Because it was the law that created our ethnicity. Black women and the children that came from them were enslaved. That included biracials. Biracials were enslaved and fought against slavery. They are a part of the Black American Family. 2. When we celebrate Black History Month many of our leaders are biracials. Biracials are a part of our history and lineage. They are a part of our Black American Family.

I was recently listening to a conversation Niki Giovanni was having with James Baldwin on race. It was truly fascinating.

The Black Panther’s love interest looks African because her father is African but her mother is Mexican, whom she describes is as pale as the sun.and the actress identifies as Mexican. You go by the seed of the father, that lively little sperm is what resuscitates that egg and gives it life or else the egg will remain dormant and break down and become menstruation. Just because someone looks white, doesn’t mean that they are white and vice-versa. You can’t judge a book by its cover.
I believe Candace is a very smart lady and if she can get her priorities straight, with the help of TMH, she can be a great asset to our community. In my opinion, she does have a moral fiber about her and can truly help turn around some of our young girls/ladies.
