A Tale of Two Dock Owners 

Blown away by your humility and gentleness, both with dock owner and with Jennie. Sssoooooo impressed and at a loss for words. Thank you for a life lesson today. I've been a Christian for 27 years and I can honestly say it's a toss up on how I would have responded.

I needed to watch that. It was an integrity check for myself. Made me feel guilty at same time taught me. I will always remember watching this in future because I’m the guy that would respond to homeowner in a negative way instead of handling as you did by just being respectful and moving on. “We’ll come and sit in your front yard with some lawn furniture.” I get it - they are those property owners who think they own the water too. It burns them to see other anglers fishing “their” water. Can only imagine how many times they do this in a year. Ott, you guys did great to not allow them to ruin a great day on the water! Plus.....this clown is trying to insult a Bassmaster Classic champion. :)

Some ppl will completely miss the blessings God has given them because they want to take someone else’s joy to get it. “Oh so they wouldn’t let you in it?” Ott was probably thinking no they wouldn’t let me fish the local derb because I’m one of the top 5 anglers in the world and have a classic sitting on the shelf at home... the nerve of these people. Everyone listen if you ever buy a lake house on a public body of water please realize before you do so that you do NOT own a single drop of water that is connected to the lake whether it’s under your dock or on your homemade ramp it doesn’t matter, if it’s water that is apart of that lake it is the public’s water aka fishermen and guess what even pleasure boaters can come and anchor down 10 yards from your dock if they choose to do so it’s not your water
