FYI yammie, you can get a "daytime MOT" for dirt bikes and all you have to do is stick a number plate on the back (as far as I know).

You also need an “audible warning device” (can be a silly bicycle horn lol) and a rear reflector, a little circular adhesive one on the number plate will do.

Mustachio's Motovlogs I just googled it and according to some website called fasttrackmotorcycles “Bikes which cannot exceed 30mph or off-road bikes designed to carry just the rider do not need indicators but if fitted they must function correctly.” So unless it’s a euro 4 restricted 50 or this website is wrong, which it quite possibly could be as it’s not a .gov website nor anything to do with the dvla, you gotta have them. Unless you’re making a bike road legal, their might be a whole different set of rules.

Hi from the UK. Talking about the Hyosung video, it is more amazing that a truck driver pulled up short to let the small bike through the junction. Not very often so I come across a considerate truck driver, at least to motorbikes anyway.

There’s something called a daytime mot over here in the uk which means we’re allowed to ride a motorcycle without lights or blinkers but we’re only allowed to use it on the road during daylight hours not at night

In England you can still use hand signals for indicators and if you have a day mot you don't need lights but you can't ride it at night

In response to the 2 stroke 125. I believe You don't need lights to ride in the uk of the bike is registered to just daytime riding, then the bike has a set curfew.

96 to 04 XRs are the shit I have the 250r, only weighs about 250 360 lbs, I have plans to go lower than that. Its perfectly feasible to get it into the high 230s I think. The 400 shares the same frame and everything so the story isn't much different there. Really simple to get plated in most states, the stock taillight unit only needs an extra wire, some switches and a dual filament bulb to be made into a brake-light. Biggest downside for most people is that its kick start only, even more so if you've got the 600.

In the uk you can have a day time only mot whitch means you dont need lights but if your caught riding in low light then you will get pulled by police

You really need to test ride a 125, you'd be surprised how fast some of the modern ones are. The fastest speed limit in the UK is 70mph and I have no issues passing that on my GSX-S125. It's no Busa but it get's the job done and is a good gateway to something bigger (probably an R3 or Ninja 400 for me).

That Yamaha twin reminds me of my starter bike, a 1980s-era side-by-side twin CB400 (basically half of a 750-Four), including the high-up bars, but sadly without the center stand. (But then a 650 would have more use for one, I guess.)

MOT is a vehicle safety check. Mechanics checks over the vehicle to make sure its road worthy, safe and street legal. If a bulb is out you can fail.. new vehicles dont need an MOT for 3 years, then you need one every year. Funny thing is, if your vehicle is over 40 years old you dont need an MOT.

That is one that should remain as it is. Also, the father-in-law of a dear friend keeps the1969 Bonneville that he used to race back in the day, in his office

As far as I know the Messerschmitt ME 262 was one of the first produced jet fighters. Debuted towards the end of WW2.

HighAngleHell I was just confused because they made it seem like an allied vehicle but I was reading German in comments. Could have been abandoned or something though. I remember they called it a rabbit. On a side note, my grandfather was in charge of similar but larger vehicles during the war, picture a truck sized version without the bike front. Armoured personnel carriers, basically smaller open top tanks. M7s iirc..

Papa yam, I need more info on the Honda vf750f interceptors I have a 1983 that I picked up for only $1k it's in great shape, all I know about the bike is that it was the first ever production superbike (atleast that's all I'm seeing). Cant seem to find any history about the bikes though.
