Bought this tank during a sale tanks amazing, 200mm of pen at 5.7 and enough armor to bounce panthers when angling as well as it being pretty speedy for the calliber

The Russian 122mm has honestly become one of my favorite guns in the game. I used the IS-2 all throughout this event to grind in RB and AB, and I was just getting casual spawn snipes at 2km in Arcade no problem. I have three IS-2s spaded so far, between the Russian and Chinese trees, and I have so much fun with them every single time. Shoot and scoot is such an effective play style when your gun can kill a building.

Long range 122 is hype. Makes you forget it’s long reload time

Yeah it can be quite amazing how sneaky you can be in the su-85/100/122/152 family.. I've been surprised just how well I've done in the su-152, despite the long reload. I'm just wishing I had of got around to grinding them out sooner when CAS wasn't such a headache.

Man that covid is nasty. Me and my grandmother I live with to take care of, caught it from the ER on a trip unrelated [imagine that] I got over it easy. Its been kicking her butt. But today thank God, she's getting that MRNA Antibody treatment. 1 of 3 doses spread across as many days. I hope it really helps her turn a corner with this thing.

I love the 122P. It will go through the UFP of a Panther at most angles up to 3000m. The only thing it can’t handle easily from the front is a T-26E5

My father took out several of them , the 100 and with the stronger guns, in 1944/45 . His panther was hit 37 times during the entire war on the Eastern Western scenarios . From 1943 on (retake of Charkow with the 1.SS Panzer Leibstandarte, till the bad end in Hungary March 1945 with hit number 38 in the right flank from 400yards, from an JS2. Even the T34/85 with his powerful (German Rheinmetall) gun , or the 100mm and 120mm , 150mm from the JS and Russian Stucks, was a danger on frontal confrontation. The panther took them out from 1,100 yards on, the Tigers even from 2,000yards. He saw an Jagt Tiger in action with his 128mm gun, he took out JS 2 and Stucks from 4,000yards. In opposite, the heavy Russian tanks lost the quickness of the T34 and the accuracy of the guns and speed of fire was poor. Two JS 2 hit the panther once, in 1945, on the front armor with two out of five rounds from 1,400 yard to around 1,000 yards. in this few minutes of fight the first two armor piercing rounds of the panther bounce off , the third took off his turret. The second JS tried to come closer , but with just two rounds per minute and slow movement it was an dead trap for the crew after the panther hit the JS between turret and chassis, the typical exposed weak point of Russian tanks, till today . By the way, before they destroyed the two JS, they took out in 15 minutes 11 T34/85 and were named in the German FOX News back in time….

Potential Video Idea. I was recently playing ground RB with my typical 4.3 BR Russian lineup. While flying in my I-185(M-71) I spotted the American PBM-1(BR 2.0) and figured it would be a great joy to shoot down as it's such a massive target. I unloaded all 560 rounds of 20mm into it as well as a friendly yak-3 and a zsu-37 scoring several hits from all 6 directions and the plane did not go down, even after its right engine caught fire then went out nearly immediately. I was granted the kill only because I shot off one elevator and rudder and he tried to make a sharp bank resulting in a spin. Basically PBM-1 is Unkillable???

It's truly amazing how Phly can actually have phun with this game. Me I just rage at everything that happens, whether it be a non pen, repair, or death
