Here on my channel, I am renovating a 250 year old stone cottage on my property in Normandy, France. By using traditional, low-waste and off-grid methods, I'm aiming to keep the charm and character of this old building, and turn it into a furnished, finished home for family whilst keeping environmental impact as low as possible. Really enjoyed this. My dad was a farmer (Midwest USA) and it was so comforting to watch the cows going out to pasture. Nothing like country living no matter the country.

PLEASE thank him very much for allowing us to visit 🙏Lovely video. Agree today farmers greatly underrated. He might still be picking up fruit BUT what an office!! Love with your milk pale! My family lived in the hills here with orchards & dairies, I drank milk straight from cows being milked! Cherished memories picking cherries & apples FROM the tree.

Yes we need to support our farmers as the government is making it very hard for them also the environment like here in Australia it can get very dry for a very long time & the Aussie farmers have water stored in very large tanks or very big ponds called water holes for the stock. Thanks Sean for showing us around your neighbours farm beautiful area too. I hope the farmer makes a very good recovery from his broken leg. My grandparents had sheep & dairy farm & my family lived up the road in Tasmania. I love the milk from the cows, all beautifully creamy. The milk today you get in the shop is not as good. My grandparents had both Jersey (give creamy milk) & Friesian Cows (are great milkers). The Jerseys were my favourite cow, they have such sweet faces.😊

Thank you so much for this video, my husband and I loved it! We live in Pennsylvania USA right in the middle of apple country. Apple and pear trees surround us for miles and miles. We also have our own small orchard and make our own cider. It was so nice to see your local cider there. I wish I could taste it! Those trees are huge, they must be very old.😊

On the van selling bread. If you have bakers that shut one day a week, you can make a good buisness going from location to location selling fresh bread, when the bakeries are shut.

We just lost our last fruit tree last year. But growing up I picked up the fruit off the tree, and ground from 6 tree in our little yard. 2 apple, 2 pear, 1 peach, 1 plum. I do miss going out and grabbing from a tree and eating them, and the money my dad paid me. LOL I would have loved that machine.

I love this video. You live in a special and beautiful area. I have spent my life in suburban USA, not close to any farms. My dad's parents lived in a rural part of Michigan. (the thumb area). They always had a vegetable garden that was fertilized with cow manure (that he purchased). They only had 1/2 an acre. Grandma always canned the vegetables and picked blueberries from a local place. That's as close as I ever got to farm life.

Lovely video Sean! It’s so important to support your local producers. As well as sourcing food items from your main shopping conglomerates that are 100% made and produced in your country. I always buy local and then buy only items that are over 80% made and produced in Australia. 🙌
