Pretty frustrating.

Newbies are okay to me if we are defeated. But i always See players that hive five thousand games and yet just camp in the edge and dont do anything and get angry?

I stopped playing years ago for exactly this reason

@@generalcheese5858 well at least in Germany we say 'you can fall off the horse on both sides'. I often times find myself in situations where I'm like the only (appropriate) tank on a flank (e.g. heavy tank on heavy line) realizing too late that noone came with me. Or having 4-5 tanks on a hill and just one hull-down monster farming everyone up; but noone wants to push with me... GGWP I guess. In case you have any tipps how to enjoy the game more, I'd be grateful. Btw: Grinding crap tanks is one of the most frustrating parts of WOT to me and I've just deinstalled yesterday. I'll see when if ever I go back to this game lol FYI: I still feel like a newbie with just over 7000 battles

@@lawrence500 Those situations are actually quite normal for me to experience. Feel like a newbie in a game full of OP "Blueprint Tanks" I can feel you. In terms of Being Happy. I only go Tier 7 and 5. Only Tier 10s and 8s For Missions. Just Enjoy The Real World War 2 Tanks Like AEG said.

​@@user-rb9wz8or1mimagine if the tds moved into a position from where they could support the manticore, or the mediums on the hill trying to get shots in from above instead of trying to be impostor heavies that lost all of their HP just because they were sitting there trading shots. But sure, blame the manticore.

@@StanleyMilgramm Shit RNG is a code name for bad aiming. LOL Anyway, to the OP... I'm also in the same situation, after a year of pausing from WoT. TBH, I miss it sometimes, but no way I'd come back into that atrocious gameplay with overpowered premium tanks and with clown cars breaking physics. It's just not worth it. And, with time, I miss WoT less and less.

​@@damyrshit RNG doesn't necessarily have to be the synonym for bad aiming, it can often happen there is a tank on low hp which you have enough alpha damage to destroy, but you low roll and die (speaking from experience, of course) as for the rest of your comment, i agree. i'm still actively playing the game but it just disgusts me every day more and more it's getting really horrible

@@damyr No, the game is absolutely picking favourites. Lifting a lucky few players up while keeping the rest down. I used to pen about eighty percent of my shots, and an ace tanker medal was something that would happen just about every day that I played. Now I pen half or even one third of my shots. Even when my team is losing so bad that it would make no difference on the outcome of the match if the game were to make every one of my shots magic bullets that always pen so there is no reason to screw over half my shots or even two thirds of them, the game still does it. Going with the ten or even five percent of the outer aiming circle that is off the tank or on a piece of armor that is too thick or angled. Instead of the ninety percent of the outer aiming circle that is on a piece of armor that would pen, even after being fully aimed. Just to screw me over so that I only pen half my shots, or even one third if the game is really hating me that match. Even when the tables are turned and I'm racing the many players left on my team for the last player on the opposing team. There is no chance that last tank could possibly win, but the game has to grant that tank every shot on me that it takes and take out a crew or module with every shot. It's not enough to just do damage. The game has to give me the hardest time, no matter the situation. The odds are always stacked against me, so I have to play as such. The game is absolutely not playing fair anymore. I've learned to spot where the deciding battle is taking place on a map and to just throw myself in there. If I survive, great. If I don't, whatever. If I'm a part of the final stand in a match like quicky here was in this video, no matter how many team players are apart of the final stand, I may as well just sit there and watch cause the game is not going to let me have anymore shots. I can just hear the game. "No, your not allowed to play. Stop trying to take shots. Stop trying to use cover. Stop trying to angle your armor. Just sit there and watch. You're just a damage farm for the opposing players. You're not allowed to play."

i think they probably made the right call since if they lost all their hp and didnt do any dmg then surely they have to change thair approach which sadly would condem their slow allies..

In this situation it was the correct call though. It would have been even better to not contest the hill at all considering the lineups of the teams. It was very clear from the start of the match that the enemies were much better suited for the hill and therefore would probably win it.

The platoon made the right play to retreat down to the tree line seeing that the enemy team have a chieftain and S.conq on the hill along with some other misc tanks...only a small amount of tanks can actually stay at the slope and hold them at bay apart from the shit talking...they made the best calls for what is best for them

No you guys did not get what i meant to say. They are not down much but just couple of hits. Right call is when you don't have backup of TD's behind they unnecessary peak enemy more and get hit and run instead of bait them so TD's can delete them. For an example, in one game in murovanka everyone from my flank ran despite TD's kept requesting to hold the flank. I came back risking it and me with grille and strv 103 behind manage to delete 6 enemy tanks including 2 heavies. It you just run away you give a chance for enemy to progress and if TD die or have to fall back the flank is gone and you are surrounded. (I am not talking about this scenario but overall even when tanks can hold still they run away it that is frustrating)

A bit of an idiot, yes, though to be fair the 3 degrees of gun depression can be a bit frustrating on the hill. He did go scout when someone had to, so there's that at least.

To be fair, if you go up the hill and your teammates don't want to push with you, that massive weak point will bring you down real quick.

yes and people also dont realize just how fucking hard it it to scout good, then relly on your teammates to hit shots (they usually dont). Its really easy to tell an LT player what to do when youre camping a bush at redline, much harder to play the LT and analize the game/map.

I used to play a lot but maps like Pilsen made me really hate the game. I despise Pilsen. I installed WoT yesterday, actually. (Xbox). First match? Pilsen. I quit and uninstalled. It's not the game it used to be.

WoT is a game, not a shit talk chat group. If u need to do such kind of activity it is better to visit a doctor.

i feel you bro, nothing worse than having a three player platoon of muppets as top tier, pretty much insta loss...and lately not just platoons people in general playing like absolute retards. Retard positions, 0 awareness, people blocking me intentionally, getting rushed by 7-8 players because my whole team is redline... Just yesterday had an El halluf tier 10 game where my ENTIRE TEAM camped base/west. Not a SINGLE player went towards the north east where the main fight takes place. Ive literally never seen that on el halluf in 17k battles.

Its definitely not game-rigging platoons "most of the time." I play on EU and pretty much never see any obvious rigging.

@@StanleyMilgramm I play The EU Server. At the end of each game, you look at the stats. You'll see many players (2011-2013) that didn't score any damage, nor even fire one shot.

@@captricharddee3634 I always check the post battle scoreboard and I have seen obvious rigging maybe once or twice in the last 15k battles. A player doing 0 damage or firing 0 shots is in no way evidence for wrongdoing.
