Whos listening this during quarantine???? Britney, xtina, jessica, mandy, ateens, sclub 7, nsync were my everything when i was a little kid then avril ashlee hilary lindsay too I MISS EARLY 00S !!!
this is early 2000s, the best era for club/disco music for me is late 90s to mid 2000s..this is one of them, senior hs when these came out.ahh..happy old times.😌
I can't believe it's been 20 years since this. I remember I felt pretty lame because I loved A-Teens and I was 20. Now I find myself here, still loving A-teens and... and I am nearly 40. Yikes... time flies huh!
I absolutely love this song! So upbeat and high tempo and everything that an absolute crazy person likes! (Just kidding) Great song! One of my favorites!💕🌈🧡❤💚🦄
Me four: I'm a 45 year old male. This song reminds me of a time, when I started high school, in the mid 1980s. A cute girl kept giving me the eye, but my brain wouldn't tell the rest of my body to move over to her and talk.
FINALLY SOMEONE WHO MENTIONS HOW MUCH BEATS NOWADAYS SUCK, It’s quite funny I almost always only get old music on cd’s and vinyl there’s barely music from nowadays time in my playlist.😭❤️ It just needs to return since I’m 20 in 2 weeks and never got to experience great music with great beats as a teen.
Haven't heard this song in more than 15 years and when the chorus kicked in, I was fully singing like I listened to it yesterday. lol Man, the 2000s were an amazing time!
The sad thing about 90s and early 2000s music is that it shows our so much excitement about turning to new era and new century. That's why many pop song and mv were so futuristic. We didn't know that era was much better than what we have now. It's now much more difficult to smile just like that without filter on, and everyone spends much more time on their phones and media. I love Amercian pop songs in this era, but somehow it makes me so nostaligic and sad at the same time. I wish there was someone that could tell us that we were living the right moment back then, so we could fully enjoy the era without missing nothing.
They built a big rotating stage and had to use it frequently to justify the cost, and/or it was a cheap effect because the machine already existed and was frequently serviced. edit: I realize after re-viewing the video that they didn't even use the rotating stage, they just rotated the camera a lot.
No sex, no nudity, no alcohol, etc... and it was just fine. They sold plenty of records. Today, soon as teens turn 18 BAM! Jumping around half naked, drunk and talking about sex in songs and music videos. Makes you wonder...
There was plenty of that in the 90s as well. 'Semi charmed kinda life' just for starters. Yes, there was plenty of innocent songs like this in those days, but they had their fair share of indecency. Not that I'm complaining as I love songs like semi charmed kinda life, but I can never agree with people that say songs are more indecent now then they were in the 90s. It's about the same. I'd also mention 'Liquid Dreams', but I think that was early 2000s that came out, still it's closer to the 90s than the songs that are going on now. That song wasn't innocent at all either. 90s may have been more subtle about sex in some songs, but it was still there. Semi charmed kinda life wasn't subtle at all though.
I loved listening to these guys as a kid. Pop music today needs to take after acts like these. I'm not saying it out of nostalgia, in many ways they're better than pop today.
afrikan08 Yeah, I agree. I loved these guys growing up, but after listening to the original songs from ABBA a couple years later, I realized how much they just rehashed and repackaged their songs for the audience at the time.
afrikan08 this group might be "crap" ......but it's NOT nostalgia. Music in the early 00s, 90s, 80s, 70s etc...is generally better and more meaningful. As time goes by it will get worse. life in general will. in terms of pop music nowadays it's overly produced, auto tune, over styled singers, fake tans, caked on bronzer, plastic, immoderate make up, alter egos (appearance is more important than music material)....... many are under mind control or have to perform sexual favours for the executives/ producers. people are undisciplined, talking trash, distasteful lyrics about dying and disgusting things. no shame. ...So trust me it's not nostalgia. but everything's getting worse has time goes on. fact
i'm sitting there and just crying out loud.. I was 8-9 years old and I remember this song. I had no problems, no depressions. I had big dreams... this song brought me back.. nostalgia...
They were my favorite pop group when I was 11-12 and I’m going to tell you why: 1. They were all extremely attractive 2. Their voices were amazing 3. Their music videos were IT
+spaceye Yeah, back on the ABBA Generation album, they didn't do much (much like ABBA itself!). All the other albums, they got to sing more...a lot more.
+John Lee I can agree that the guys in A-Teens didn't do much in the beginning, but you're trying to say the men in ABBA also didn't do much? Aside from playing the instruments and writing the songs, you mean?
+musicguy713 the music "groups" i listen to these days of today's generation are Little Big Town, Rascal Flatts, Florida Georgia Line, & Lady Antebellum to name a few
the blonde girl looked like Mandy Moore in her candy days while the brunette one looked like young Alanis Morissete.. edit: Lol never ever thought of getting these likes for this comment after a year! 😂😂😂 thanks!
@That One i'm just talking about pop music from about 1998 to 2003. A*teens, Backstreet Boys, Steps, M2M, Mandy Moore, NSYNC, 5ive, Jessica Simpson, S Club 7... all their music was fun and positive.
We weren't so focussed on sex over those times. There were no wrecking balls around, there were no complexities about knowing your marital status on Facebook... and moreover: we're not stupid. We didn't grow old for stupid. We still learning, we still being kids in some way or another... but this never attepted any damage or referrenced any sexual immaturity. Something that happens really (I mean REALLY) often nowadays. 90's kids know what I mean. PD. Used to listen to this in Colombia during that time.
Luis Miguel Hurtado I wasn't a 90s kid but my parents told how people back then are how can put it.... more good or i mean rightly social or living what's right to their age..... yeah and now a days... somehow even i can't stand it.

Yo con 33 años en mi cuerpo y aún los escucho...son geniales...los oigo y me pongo a llorar como seré fanático de ellos desde que salieron por primera vez
I love this song really much... I'm Korean and I've learned this song from my elementary English teacher when I was 10 years old. She forced(?) us to memorize all the lyrics and I couldn't imagine that I'd do that, but it took not that much time for me to sing along. And from that, I loved all the pop-songs that my teachers taught to us, and that made me love English so much. Thanx, my teachers, and all the pop songs! (Now I'm Swifty.)
hello, I'm from Philippines and I knew this song 2 years ago.. and yes this is very nice and I will never get tired of listening to this.. I actually have a crush on that brunette guy hehe
Um... That varies by each school, but I did learn English by learning pop songs from the English-speaking world. And pop-song learning is quite famous in Korea because music is known as the easy way to learn sth. I think so too and I've learned pop-songs until I was in a middle school.
2021 anybody here lets travel back in 90s world with this song,, bring back all childhood days batang 90s kaway kaway,,. Greetings from pasig philippines,,a teens
