Former adviser to Gordon Brown, Michael Jacobs says it's "extraordinary" that head of NatWest Alison Rose was the source in the 'inaccurate' BBC story about Nigel Farage's Coutts account.
Dame Alison Rose is no longer a member of Prime Minister Rishi Sunak’s business council, No 10 has said after her resignation as NatWest’s chief executive.
Mr Jacobs says: "I don't think it needs to go any further, it's clearly a terrible mistake."

@@alexfung9097 The BBC, Nat West, Coutts, Alison Rose, Simon Jacks, have all committed offences. Not small ones when you look at the fines GDPR fines are 2% of Turnover or £17.5 million which ever is the bigger - what does that raise? 2% of £13.156 billion is a fine of £263.12 Million - kerching - A nice little earner from Nat West 2% of £5.7 billion is a fine of £114 Million - kerching - the BBC can afford it 2% of £1 billion is a fine of £20 Million - kerching - Coutts can afford it Dame Alison Rose - Income £5 million - fine of £17.5 million - Kerching - perhaps she can afford it £414.62 million means lower taxes for the rest of us.

Why on earth would you have a remoaner on your show to discuss Nigel Garage? His attitude to the whole debacle was half hearted to say the least. She deserves what she got. As a Registered Nurse, I would have been struck off the register for divulging personal, confidential information, she, on the other hand will just move on to the next job and I wonder how many millions payoff she'll get, as opposed to what I would have got, which is zero and no career. Scandalous.

This professor is just contradicting himself, probably because when dealing with young students he just shouts them down. He said in the short term foreigners can come in and do jobs Brits dont want due to low wages, then he says in the medium term we must force wage increases which in turn make the jobs more appealing to Brits. Question 1. Do the foreigners leave once wages rise making space for Brits? Question 2. Why would employers allow forced wage increases for Brits when they can pay cheap foreign labour? Question 3. Does anybody ever sit down with Professors like this and explain that there is a huge difference between theory and practical application of theory and the working class always suffer whilst you find that simple fact out………oh yes and then blame everyone else for poor implementation for the failure of their “master plan”. What needs to happen here is a complete clean out of the political system and a new breed of politician that advocates for Britons and ensures that the corporate class do not hold the population of Britain to ransom through sowing discord through bought and paid for mainstream media. People have been tricked into fighting each other whilst intellectual lightweights like this chap get to test their theories out whilst receiving massive grants from politicians and big business. OK then, here we go. No one line wonder twitter stunted comments from me, you get your moneys worth here. Fair & adult minded people please read on. I would say the decent open minded people amongst us say, in unison, "Good Riddance Alison Rose". No one is getting on to her as a person, much at all, rather it is her behaviour and actions that are at fault, and must be exposed, debated and sorted out, this is what I suspect is what many people feel. Like the coward that she is seen to be, when she finally realised the game was up for her, after later on being thrown under the bus by the BBC, she at last admits her BETRAYAL of the PEOPLE OF THE UK. Betrayed Mr Farage, betrayed the banking system and betrayed us all. A betrayer of trust placed in her. And they gave her a Damehood? Big mistake there then that must be rectified. If Authority & the players dare bring to book 'one of their own'. We'll see the extent of their loyalty and decency. Best not expect too much, but we demand it. Or does Damehood = lack of integrity? Other of our Dames, many well justified, those earned by erstwhile efforts, must voice their concerns, if only for their own sake. Just no excuses for it is there. It appears, now even admitted to by her own weaselly belated words of what must be an unlawful act, by HER. Not to mention her betrayal of so many entities. This has damaged the almost entirety of Private Enterprise & Authority itself, done them no favours. Done us no favours either, other than underlyingly uncover what is in part the ROTTENNESS within our Nation. That must be cut out. Though the rottenness is within the entities that should do this. Another of our problems. When you look at it, even the left leaning and anti-Farage types do not like what she has done, in that her actions and that of the BBC reporter who was a party to this breach of the data protection act. However accurate of inaccurate it was. The spirit of it has been broken, and SO much more. I say what that BBC employee and the BBC did was similar in a way to handling stolen goods, knowing it to be so, becoming in receipt of it, passing it on, dispersing it far and wide via the BBC. Mainly for the participating parties own Self Interest and Gain. In this instance concerning the BBC in furtherance of their Sociopolitical agenda. That Simon Jack is also to blame and should also be prosecuted as well as Rose. The News Media have been getting away with too much for too long, that has to be recognised and acted upon. These types of people amongst us who will not stand with Farage's principle and point in this matter, because they cannot stand him. How they must have reservations against Alison Rose and BBC's (for now!) Simon Rose because... da Dada da da Daa, those what I consider to be less than intelligent two people, have brought to PROMINANCE Nigel Farage after he was to an extent an also ran, however much in the game he was. Yes he was a busted flush these days, though as we see here, never underestimate the power of the individual. Farage applied himself to at long last the UK withdrawing from the EU monster, played his part in that, now what he crusades for is building in momentum and may well be of huge benefit to the common man. Which I will appreciate, and so should many other people. That he will put the effort in, to make a change that will benefit even his most fervent critics. He is no hero of mine, but he is doing his bit, as we all must do. If we want a better life not only for ourselves but us all. I concentrate on the latter. What we should look at is did Dame Edna & Jack really think that people of the UK, could not work out that Simon Jack (& the BBC's) passing on of confidential Information, (we see being said to be not entirely accurate). Being daft enough to publish that the very next day after sitting down in luxury scoffing an expensive meal at ultimately OUR expenses, with Dame (for now!) Alison Rose Nat West CEO, (No more!!). The pair of them were so lacking in >>Common Sense
@davidhiggins7026
@davidhiggins7026 Год назад
(Continued). But we see, and this is at the heart of our problems, and must be recognised by us all, especially by those with 'proclaimed' and supposed intellect. That many of these types in higher positions have what I call 'Telescopic Intelligence'. In that they may well have a magnified learning on a particular area, that is needed to carry out that higher function. Doctors etc, CEO's, MP's and that. They have a higher sense of that specified area than the common man, but time and time again we see, as in this case, these supposedly learned people, Rose & Jack cannot focus and have an understanding on what is commonly sensed. What is in normal view. They are to a large extent devoid of Common Sense. Maybe experienced and educated in their particular usually work related activity, ok this is needed, let these types take years of learning and apply themselves to that. But underlyingly this is usually at the expense of what the majority of people have a high understanding of. The everyday right & wrong of matters, (should they not engage in criminality). The common man in many ways actually, though not on paper, has a HIGHER Intellect. People please, never be conditioned to accept what is widely falsely established in this matter. You in actuality have a far higher intellect where it matters the most, yet are so easily manipulated not to apply it in areas that would be best to, usually at your expense and the 'players' gain, again usually a financial one but not limited to that. But those in these positions just cannot see their fundamental failings, they will not accept it. Their egos convince them that in mostly 'all' areas they have an higher understanding than the common man. Yet they usually lose the firm foundation of Common Sense, if it was ever there much at all, whereby they then built their higher enterprise upon. Then as we see here in the Rose & Jack case, the underpinning foundation, Common Sense gives way. Barely there in the first place. Alison Rose's lofty career comes crashing down. And so should Jack's, for the common good. For natural Justice. It was all of their own making. Their fault, their mistake and they should pay. We must demand this. Sadly some of the 'intellectuals' barely know no better. Having along the way had parts of their sense of right & wrong eroded away &/or given up. For higher, usually, higher financial rewards, or some higher ecological, sociopolitical or political aim of they have in their heads. That some fool themselves in to believing was acquired though may well be placed in there. What Rose personally did and HAS been doing in her tenue as NatWest CEO is wrong. Having Gestapo type dossiers on people to that malignant extent. Her conduct at 39% State & people of the UK owned NatWest must be thoroughly 'investigated'. A better life for us all must come from this. Not Conserving it in the hands of the 'players'. Bye Bye Alison Rose, you will not be missed. Though do keep open that exit door, because Simon Jack and the BBC itself must surely follow. My messages may be controversial, what perchance should be 'conversed' about. This is my viewpoint of these important concerns of ours. Making what I hold to be valid points that is either accepted to be the truth of the matter or not accepted as such. Our choice in these affairs. Is it not better when more effort is applied in to expressing ourselves?. (possibly insight & wider debate follows). More needs to be done by those still clinging on to that ability & desire, having endured a concerted deliberate effort to strip them of primarily the desire to express yourself, thoroughly & effectively especially. (To the large part, these colluding in that nefarious act, sadly, from what I widely see are succeeding). Plenty of white space to fill people. 5000 characters per YT comments post. We can all change things, try make things better. If the effort is put in, at the moment not enough is put in by the majority of people. Are things great as they are? Well say your bit, though do not make it 'just' a bit. The odd few words or a line. Please do expand on matters of concern to you. Far and wide. We all have to do it. Once again then, ending on a happy & just note: Bye Bye Alison Rose, and your £5+ million annual salary, (btw that is a whopping 50 Metres high, (Note face to note face) stack of Tenners!, & the pension etc on top per annum. A meal allowance I suspect likely more than a persons yearly hard earned wage. The obscenity of all that, I guarantee you people, that 50 Metre high stack of Tenner's is actual fact. Hard to accept maybe, but should you wish to, consider that amount of renumeration that she was getting when viewing it against a 50m building, or half of a 100m one. Are they really worth this? Looks like we have been purposely & mostly successfully detached from seeing the value of money, so that the 'players' can successfully make off with as much of it as they possibly can. Like I consider to be bandits. Alison Rose you will not be missed by the People of the UK, we can well do without anyone remotely of similar ilk engaging in what she did. Betraying us all.

There was no empathy and no funding for any professional development. i now work as an ambulance care assistant and i find the same problem. Simply put, if you are responsible for someone else you should be paid adequately for it. The amount of stress too should also be added to cost. care workers, support workers etc all take the grief and stress home. Im a dude. There are hardly any of me working in care. It is dominated by longevity managers. or people that have become managers from being there a long time. Frankly i would like to run my own care home.

If Farage & Tory politicians are being turned down by banks, the issue is their sources of income/donors. If a rabble rouser like Farage disappeared, the UK would be a far better place; then we could concentrate on serious issues like food/fuel poverty, PPE corruption, river pollution, etc.
